Re: Redskins Mock Draft

Per Ben Albright

"Washington has been (not so) quietly exploring QB options (both for the future and in case Alex Smith is unable to go.

Not sure they're a 1st round candidate for a QB, but day 2 for Grier could be an option.

Also may look at Andy Dalton if he becomes available."

I don't see Grier falling that far but we will see. And no thanks to Dalton

Yeah its tricky when you have so many needs. We need a WR but we also need those other positions too. On the flip side, the positive is we have no reason not to go BPA each pick because we could use the help everywhere.

I think if White is there its the Jonathan Allen No Brainer pick.

The pass rushers Polite and Josh Allen are highly intriguing there as well.

The WR I like is the kid from NC State, I think he will be a 2nd or 3rd round pick. Marquise Brown is fast as hell and would be tough to pass on in the 2nd round.

Re: Redskins Mock Draft

Anthony Johnson WR - Buffalo is a very good all around player and I'd love to take him in the 2nd if we draft QB in the 1st. Time to start building this Offense

But the skins should go after him, and put him in an offense unlike any he’s played in before? Josh Johnson’s play demonstrates how important familiarity with a system is at that point in the season.

Never heard of this writer before, but he’s clearly a moron.

Gabbert better than Kap? Idk about that. You're talking about a guy who took his team to a Super Bowl and was a major contributor to that teams success. Gabbert will never take anyone anywhere.

Re: Redskins Mock Draft

All I'll say about Kap is that if he comes back he better learn to be a pocket passer. He was on fire when the read-option was still a thing. I remember the end of that run where people were figuring it out and he wasn't looking so good.

I really hope the Dalton stuff isn't true. No thank you. He is just a stop gap qb that will get us to 7 or 8 wins tops. If Grier is there when we pick and he is bpa on their board ( which doesn't say much) then we have to take Grier and start him day one.

I could see Dalton or AJ Mccarron as a stop gap

Re: Redskins Mock Draft

Two questions.......

1) Do the Redskins trade up to get a QB ?

2) Do the Skins take best player available (PPA) or do you draft for need ?

I don't think u trade up for a QB, Grier will most likely be there at 15.

And at 15 BPA is most likely going to be a DL which we don't need so yes draft QB
