Patriots Waive Haynesworth
Just announced. Can't say I'm surprised. Haynesworth has never taken his football career seriously, and he is a huge waste of talent.

Re: Patriots Waive Haynesworth
I said this on another thread, hopefully this is the last Haynesworth thread ever:
No surprise here, I am surprised they haven't released Ochocinco as well. I'm sure some people will get a boner about this. In reality, this is a reminder of how much of a mistake was to sign this guy, given him a ton of money, and keep him for a season too long.

Re: Patriots Waive Haynesworth
Whenever you hear anyone bash Allen & Shanny's trade for McNabb, realize that they at least made some lemonade on this one - 5th round pick.

Re: Patriots Waive Haynesworth
Weren't they offered a 3rd rounder for him though? In the end this team has turned $40 mil, a 2nd rounder, and a 4th rounder into two 6th rounders and a 5th rounder.

My main point is that Allen & Shanny would've never been part of that signing, but they did what they could to move on. |

Re: Patriots Waive Haynesworth
I think a few of us predicted he wouldn't last the entire season there. Next stop, Tennessee.

Re: Patriots Waive Haynesworth
Eagles will probably sign him. They desperately need a disruptive force up the middle. Hopefully a crappier team then us claims him.

I'm reporting that reporters will start speculating the Eagles interest in Albert Haynesworth all because he's friendly with Howard Mudd. 8 minutes ago Favorite Retweet Reply meechone Mike Meech RUMOR: Albert Haynesworth was seen leaving the Patriots facility wearing an Eagles hat. Re: Patriots Waive Haynesworth
I used to feel that way, but honestly i dont think it matters anymore. Even reuniting with his coach isnt going to do anything. Haynesworth just doesnt really care about football anymore, he no longer has a drive to play. If anything i think it will cause more problems for the eagles. More egos more problems.

Re: Patriots Waive Haynesworth
Speaking of the Iggles, I think we may have dodged the bullet a bit by not signing Cullen Jenkins. I was watching the game last night and they could not generate much of a pass rush against a so-so offensive line.
