Somehow with one game of a 17 game season down I don't think the season is over. Beat writers go for clicks.

John Keim is a national treasure in the beat-writer world. He is great.

It would be amazing for TH to come out at home tonight and go for 4 Tds, but in reality it'll be 220 yards and 1 td 1 int

I more ascribe with the Kevin Sheehan chicken little approach.

I watched your game against the Broncos, and I don't think the Giants should be underestimated. Your defensive front 7 is legit. And I don't like Jones' mobility against our LBs.
What did you think of your secondary though ? On paper they should be really good, and yet guys kept running wide open... surprising to me.

Sidenote: I don't want to hear about the best DL in the NFL until they prove it. The Saints' DL absolutely dominated GB last week. Heck the Broncos put a lot of pressure on Jones too. Way more than ours did.

It will be impressive if he is still in the game at the end of the 4th quarter.

I was surprised at how bad the secondary was ,on paper it was our strength .

Yeah, very surprised, hopefully for us Heinicke can take advantage of that, but before the season started I fast checked all teams depth chart, and one of my random thoughts was "man the Giants have a legit DB squad"... Shows how unpredictable this game is.

Re: NYG Part 1 Gameday Thread

Posted from another thread. If you're in the crowd that says the Heinicke sample size is too small to think his very strong play is indicative of his future, then you have to be in the crowd that says the Daniel Jones record against us (4-0) is too small a sample to think that's necessarily for real.

Heinicke is going to make mistakes, and we're going to eat Daniel Jones alive tonight.

I read somewhere that Peppers was not playing a lot against Denver, didn't get many snaps which is odd. He wasn't injured as he said he was surprised as well. Thought he was one of the Giants best defensive backs

A win sets up a very relaxing weekend of watching football. A loss sets a weekend of stress hoping everyone else loses too. Don't want to be in sole possession of last place.

A loss and this team is in BIG Trouble, the next 5 games are BRUTAL besides Atlanta and that could be a toss up game if we can't score

Re: NYG Part 1 Gameday Thread

It's really hard to predict a WFT win tonight. It looks like a pretty even matchup across the board, but the Giants / D Jones have had Washington's number for more than two seasons for whatever reason.

Re: NYG Part 1 Gameday Thread

I actually just remembered we play tonight. Did not cross my mind for one second today. In the past (more so the distant past than the recent) I would have been like a kid in a candy store all day. Man has my passion for this team waned over the years. Fuck you Dan Snyder.
