Mattyk72, true indeed, my good sir, that's what I read a lot too all day and all night long in the many various threads "Ramsey vs Brunnell", "Do you Trust Joe Gibbs".....ooooh, how soon they forget!

I'm glad I was in the 1% then! I have always taken the side of whoever starts I'll support.....after all, it is a team effort.

Re: Should we have traded Patrick Ramsey?

again, campbell's play in the preseason showed two things:
He has talent.
He's not ready.

He can make the throws, but he can't read the defenses yet. He showed up super early, got his deal done fast and started studying the playbook immediately, even though he didn't have to. He wants to be successful and his actions showed that he's willing to do the work, BUT he hasn't had enough time and he was throwing too many ints in his first action (to no-name dbs). I like what i've seen, but there's no way he'll be able to just come in and immediately win games... we'd have to tank the season for next year like NYG did in 2004. Though Coughlin's move does look like genius now; tanking a possible playoff contender for the future cause he knew they weren't good enough to win it all.

I think you are right. But, what will happen is brunell will win the super bowl for us, then ramsey will stay here for the last year of his contract and take over for brunell at some point next season (early) and he will go on to win the super bowl, then we'll franchise tag ramsey and get two first round picks for him and then in turn that will be the help that we will need to help campbell win the super bowl. When it is all said and done gibbs will have again won three super bowls with three more QB's to go down in history as the greatest coach ever!!!!
