You mean 2; Lewis caught one last night too.

I would say there are plenty of examples across the years where just about every team got QB wrong. But yes, we do seem to have a penchant for it.

Your comment reminds me of the country song title, "You can't even do wrong right". That song should be Dan Snyder's walkup music.

Cowboys QB Garrett Gilbert is way more talented than Alex Smith And Haskins

Let that sink in

Capable and talented are 2 different things. Smith is far more talented than either but is currently (and maybe now never) incapable of performing on the level he once was. Maybe a full week or 2 with 1st team reps will improve things, but I'd say we're stuck with him as #1 the rest of the way and Haskins likely as #2, disgruntled or not. Maybe Haskins gets the wake up call that this is an opportunity but I doubt it.

I have a feeling we could be seeing a whole new QB room by camp next year...

LOL, let's not get ahead of ourselves. It was one game against an undefeated team whose games have almost all been one score victories. Gilbert did aight.

I'll give Dallas credit for bouncing back after being humiliated last week, that's about it.

I watched half the game, I came away impressed. Lotta fight and toughness and he looked good.

Alex Smith one TD was all Terry, wasn’t even a good throw. The ints were really bad. Alex did what he does best, check down.

Re: Around the NFL week 9

I disagree. He had a nice game, got the ball down the field more than we've seen in a couple years. The first INT was not his fault as the RB fell down. The last two were terrible for sure. That's someone trying to be a hero...Funny thing is he's not ever been known for making dumb mistakes like that. I chalk it up to being out for two years, and just pressing way too much at the end of the game.

Re: Around the NFL week 9

Alex was slinging it and not always checking down, I think that's what got him in trouble with the INT's he started feeling it and was letting it fly. He probably knew he had to be aggressive if they were going to pull it out. I don't really fault him. The early turnovers are what did us in, again. Bad teams fall behind early and often and that's where we're at right now.

Yep, with the exception of the Dallas game, the slow starts are a weekly trend.

They tried to save face for letting KC walk... It didn't pan out like usual in Washington...
