He hasn't thrown a ball in more than a year. He had interception issues before, and now his throwing shoulder is messed up. If he comes back and is a top ten qb I will take back all the negative things I said about him when he was healthy and throwing picks.

It's really the Colts fault though. They got away with not protecting PManning because of his abilities, and they thought they could do the same with Luck, but he really isn't anywhere near PManning even when fully healthy.

This.

To be clear, he may or may not be back. I think Indi is counting on him coming back as the starting QB. While not a given, I think it more likely than not he will.

Regardless, after that long a lay-off and given the nature of the shoulder injury, I just don't think he will ever be as good as was - and I have the same opinion of him that CRed does. Even if he returns, he will be average and it will be a struggle for him to even be considered anything more than that. In addition, he will likely be a high injury risk and have a short career.

So will he back? I think probably. Will he ever again be considered a top tier QB? I think that is highly unlikely.

He was the clear cut favorite and the next Elway to many.. Crazy how the draft can really shape out.. Look at Luck and RG3 back to back, both had great rookie years and since then....

In the last 10 years, they have had only 1 season when they won more than 5 games for the entire year. 2014 they won 7.

In the last two years, they have won 1 game. It might be amusing just to see what the coaches are telling these players because whatever they have been telling them has not been working.

Re: Around the NFL Post Draft News.

With the nfl determined to get rid of the kick off (the new proposals are terrible), i wondered about using a 5 on 5 rugby style scrum at the 30 yard line un its place. So the coin flip now determines which team chooses where the scrum starts.

Just curious of people's thoughts for possible alternatives.
