Yes I like the earlier era better. Maroon is darker and the (in my eye's and crayon box) yellow is darker. I'd still prefer a more metal color vs. the yellowish version of gold. Baylor's "gold" is nice as well as Florida State University's "gold".
The additional colors are just those found in the Indian head logo.

What we use is typically called Athletic Gold. Most people call it yellow mistakenly.

Anyway, lets steer this back in the right direction...RGIII's pro day:

Re: RGIII Highlights Thread

I figure i'd put this hear. we have seen in many interviews RGIII making the claim that he wasn't going to buy a new flashy Bently like the other skins players. HE was basically gonna ride his Chrystler to camp and Redskins Park. Most of us found it refreshing. However then I found this TMZ styled website claiming that his fiance was out shopping for a Bently's in Bethesda.

BECKY GOT A BENTLEY!!! Top NFL Draft Pick ROBERT GRIFFIN III's Fiance Just Bought Herself A New Car . . . A BENTLEY!!! - MediaTakeOut.com™ 2012

I don't care what car Robert drives or his chick for that matter... but if this is true I knda feel like why lie about something so small. Why make a big deal about not buying a car, not being a pre- madonna if you know you will. Does he think fans are stupid? Maybe Im over reacting but it seems kinda two faced IMO.

Re: RGIII Highlights Thread

I never heard him talk about cars and I could really care less what he or his woman drives.

Re: RGIII Highlights Thread

If I was him, I would be in a....celebritorial mood as well. AND a new rig would be on my short list. Beyond that, why would anybody care?

He doesn't practice catch and release... and he doesn't even eat fish.

Re: RGIII Highlights Thread

For me it's not whether or not he is buying a car or celebrating by spending some money. For me it just why tell the media in multiple interviews and the public that you aren't gonna do that. If you do, it okay who cares. Just don't make a big todo how your not that type of guy and your not going to do it.

What if he's buying it for her and he sticks with his own ride?

Would that make you feel better?

Man, the scrutiny this kid is under already is insane.

I understand Matty its not a big deal in the long run. When you're married (they soon will be) what's hers is his and vice versa

I don't think he was born pre-Madonna so it is pretty much irrelevant.

I agree 100%. I never heard him make the statement, and honestly even if he did that is silly to hold him to it. I imagine every round 1 pick will be driving a shiny new toy within a week or two.

A side note the comments on that article are really terrible, i hope one day even idiots will understand how dumb racial comments make you sound.

Robert Griffin III Will Keep Driving His Chrysler Pacifica, If His Dad Has Anything To Say About It - Half Smokes - SB Nation DC

Such a non-story. People are acting like he held a tour of press conferences to specifically address the type of car he would drive
