I kind of thought who ever won Phil WFT was going to be the only team with a win nice to see it is Football Team even if it is only for a week or two.

Is it just me, or are there fewer articles about the game than in past years? Really only seen a basic recaps containing essentially the same information about the game, a couple articles on CY, and an SI piece on Haskins speech.

I don't get the Post so maybe that's where some of the more in-depth stuff is. I am used to seeing articles about how each unit performed, top ten takeaways, etc. and am not seeing those breakdowns.

Any chance the Eagles are a 3 - 13 team fighting for Trevor Lawrence, and at the end of the year this win will mean nothing?

I was thinking the same thing. Keim used to do the takeaways but stopped doing it last year.

SunnySide to his hostess after Thanksgiving Dinner: "Thank you for inviting me. I really enjoyed the meal but the turkey was a little dry, don't you think?"

Irish (also a dinner guest): "Yes, it was very dry and I would have preferred stuffing instead of dressing."

We won because we smacked them in the mouth all day long and they got rattled.

Re: Philly postgame week 1

I have read all the posts and there are better analysis by others than I could give. Regardless of the deficiencies, the thing that impressed me the most is that the team didn't quit when it was 17 - 0. Under Gruden, the team would have rolled over and quit. Good coaching and great effort by the players. It's nice to be No. 1 in the division, even if it is only the first week.

What am I, some proper english gentleman type with all that "thank you" and politeness?

Im an American, because were in America. And as everyone knows, we in America cover our beautiful delicious Thanksgiving turkey in a pool of gravy and its a beautiful display as the white meat and dark meat swim together in a brownish salty sea of flavor awesomeness.

Pretty sure Gruden was in charge when we overcame a 24pt deficit to beat the Bucs.

Re: Philly postgame week 1

Way to early to tell what kind of team this is ... yes it was a great win however we were down 17-0 before any signs of actual competition kicked in..I hope the dominant D we saw the remaining game is a glimpse of what’s to become !!

Has anyone mentioned the fact that last year we blew a 17-0 lead to them? Crazy. Paybacks are a bitch.

I do prefer stuffing. If its not cooked inside the bird its not as flavorful.
