Draft Day Meeting was great!

Hey folks I figured down here was the best place for this thread.

I'm just back with my son Elijah after a GREAT day at FED/EX Field with some our fellow thewarpath.net members. I saw JoeRedskin and his sign first but they wouldn't let him bring it in. After a bit I got a cell call from Summo and we were soon to meet down on the field. Next was Joecrisp and his lovely bride and we all headed down to watch the draft.

I got to shake Joe Gibbs' hand on his way in and again when he was shaking many hands. I told him "Mr. Gibbs, God Bless you." to which he said "Thank you." And I then replied... "Thank you." Very cool.

We took some Red End Zone turf I got at the final game at RFK Stadium to maybe bring a little good luck to FED/EX Field.

The weather was great and meeting the guys was great and well....it was just great.

Here are about 45 pictures I took today.

Awesome guys! Sorry I didn't make it. I love that sign, I hope you plan on bringing it to training camp!

Hey SBF!!

It was GREAT to meet up with you and your son! Gorgeous day to just hangout in the stadium watch the world, and the draft, go by. Definitely going back again next year. And, yes - I'll bring a banner next time.

I am definitely saving the sign for training camp. My wife was none to pleased when I told her they wouldn't let me take it in.

A good time was had by all. By the way, the beer was ONLY $3 a drink this time.

Great haning out with you guy's.

Hey Guy's It was great to meet you, too bad Matt couldn't make it. But we definatley should make it a yearly thing. I didn't get home until after 11 last night and I had a Flag Football game at 8:00 this morning so I'm pretty tired. Flying down from New Yawk is deinatley the way to go, definatley better then driving for seven hours!! I will post all the pics I took on my site by the end of the week. Later -Summo

Dude,
I kept setting off the metal detector in Reagan National on the way back and all I kept thinking about was that bag of red grass in my bag, and praying they wouldn't find it!!

LOL! Yeah man, I was a little sketched out, too! It looked a little too much like the other "grass"! But that was so cool of you, dewd, I really appreciate the gesture.

Now, I didn't smoke it-- but I can tell you, it is some powerful stuff! Just a whiff of it from the bag, and I started hearing "Hail to the Redskins", as visions of Riggo, Sonny and The Posse danced in my head!

By the way, I finally got my draft day pics up on my photos site. You can see them here:

http://www.msnusers.com/JoeCrispsWar...s/shoebox.msnw

You'll have to wade through my minicamp pics from last time, but the draft day pics start on page 2.
