Re: RIP George Blanda

I recall Blanda kicking a short FG in OT to beat the Skins in his last season. Dude was definitely old school. RIP Old Man Blanda - one of the greats.

Versatile player at both Kicker & QB. Played to an age unmatched in NFL history. I'm glad I had the opportunity to watch his career.

My prayers go out to the Blanda family & friends....may his soul RIP

Re: RIP George Blanda

That sucks! It's been a rough year for the Raiders in many ways. RIP.

That is one kick we wish he had missed , good memory SM . A great player , qb as well as kicker . He retired in 1959 , for a year then came back and had an amazing career .... R.I.P. G. Blanda .
