He got benched last week during the 40-16 blowout loss to the Giants after missing a few days of practice with an illness. For Brown, that was a clear message.

"I'm just sitting here just doing what I'm supposed to be doing 'till it's time for me to leave," Brown said Wednesday. "You see the writing on the wall. It is what it is..

Damn did these guys all get told fuck u by team management or something??

There is a CLEAR dysfunction and its getting ugly.

It is odd. I'm not really surprised by the losses lately due to injuries and whatnot. But the locker room fallout is a bit worrying. In previous years Gruden's teams always seemed to stick together and play hard til the seasons end.

I didn't expect all this drama to surface and take over the last few weeks.

Yikes. Did they tell these guys they’re all getting fired after the Eagles game? Foster I get but Brown? Jesus. If we don’t win at least 1 of these last games, the players may go on strike.

As soon as 0:00 shows up on the Eagles game I have a feeling a whole lot of shitty laundry is gonna be aired.

What happened to the stability Bruce and Jay brought to the organization?

Brown is a Probowler if used correctly(Attacking).
It sounds like Brown is begging to be released so he can play in a better system.

There hasn't been stability to the organization since Gibbs 2.0 was in the builing....dysfunction only shifted from Cerrato to Bruce Allen.

I don't remember him getting hit in the game.

I'm so done with Mr 35 yards a game. F this guy.

He is one of the problems on this team for sure. Terrible. Has he ever had one standout game? Like 100 yards and a td ?

He has never had 100 yds in a game. His high in any game was 84 which he hit last week in the drubbing we endured (he also hit 81 yards once last year). And no TDs in either of those games. His career game high in receptions is 5 (hit only once).

Virtually every other WR in the league is ahead of him in receiving yards (and a bunch of RBs too, including Ezekiel Elliott, Jalen Richard, Todd Gurley, and Alvin Kamara. He is currently 82nd in the league in receiving yards.

He is not a WR1 or WR2 with his numbers. He's just not.

I hope we win but I’ve got a 1/2 gallon of jack and 1 baby coke to wash it down with if we don’t...

Re: Jags Pregame Thread

I would cut Foster and Brown for the way they are acting towards the team, they might be frustrated but their attitude is what bothers me and probably why the D has fallen apart. I guess we know why Brown was benched on Sunday, attitude.

I really don't think he is under achieving, I really don't.

He was always what he is now.

I don't think he ever should have been a 1st round pick, or second, or third.

History of leaving school (toughness and dedication) and any inability to separate should have been red flags. He is also not physical against press coverage and easily jammed.

We're not in disagreement. I didn't say he was underachieving, just that he's not a viable WR1 or WR2. Given what pick we used on him, it is also fair to say it's a real disappointment. Overall, our WR situation is appalling, and it has to be a priority in the draft.

He was supposed to be a climb the ladder guy who could go up n get 50 50 balls. He was touted as a guy who got separation and was physical and faster than people thought. His real knock was that he needed to add more muscle and that he had trouble in press coverage. If he went to several other teams he would probably have panned out but not in old DC. I dont blame him for leaving Wyoming for TCU. He got paid because of it.

Do you think it is lack of desire or lack of development by the coaches?

Or both?
