Even though he may be better than what we have, my expectations are real low. Apparently he was being beat out by an undrafted free agent. There's are reason he was basically traded for a ham sandwich.

Callahan, new team and this guy already has nasty streak with a chip on shoulder....my only concern is the health.

Redskins' Bryan Stork has 'mean streak, health questions, versatility' - Washington Redskins Blog- ESPN

Stork is head and shoulders above our existing talent at center, easily

Plus he's still young, not sure what's not to like, low risk move with a lot of upside.

It's low risk which is good, but just not expecting much at this point. The nasty streak is fine but when he starts costing the team with 15 yarders then that isn't good. We shall see if he can get back to where he was as a rookie, but nice job by SM to try and upgrade a terribly weak position. Tired of watching Lich get mauled. And Lerib is a effing disaster.

My expectations aren't any lower with him than they were with Lich. His history of concussions is a real concern, but there are a ton of very good undrafted free agents out there, so I wouldn't put too much stock into who his replacement is in NE.

My guess is it's probably a combination of what he brings to the locker room and the concern over his overall health that brought about NE's willingness to trade him for basically nothing, more than it was his talent.

As has been said already - low risk, high reward move. I hope he stays healthy and quickly gels with the current starters.

Redskins trade for Center Bryan Stork

It's real simple, Stork >> Lichtensteiger.

Next topic.

This is the best point written so far.

The potential upside is so much greater than a 7th rounder.

Is the 7th round pick a conditional pick?

4th video down is pretty impressive. He blocks a DLineman by throwing him OFF HIS FEET about 3 yards, and then jumps on top of him. Nice.

I like this, IF he plays and stays. Either way, agree we're not losing much either way w a 7th rounder.

Re: Redskins trade for Center Bryan Stork

He can play, but he got himself in a lot of trouble with the Pats. He didn't report for offseason conditioning, he had a really bad fight during a June practice. He has alot of upside, but if he doesn't get control of himself it won't matter. He is definately worth a 7th round pick, I just hope he fits in ok and doesn't cause any issues.
