Yes that Alex Smith lol, I'm actually in favor of it if we can't get a more qualified GM

Not trying to be a jerk, but would make you think Alex Smith is qualified to do that position?

Extremely intelligent dude, obviously we know how talented he was as a player and he is very well respected by everyone he's worked for. I don't think its a far fetch that Smith becomes the GM or in some kind of role in the front office and then brings Eric Bieniemy in as HC.

Since when does being qualified mean anything? I mean just look at our President.

Bruce Allen is officially the worst longest-tenured GM who has been with the same team since 2010 (in all 4 major leagues).

24 GM's total, only 3 with losing records.

Bruce Allen, Redskins, .397 winning percentage, 2 playoff appearances no wins
Dayton Moore, Kansas City Royals, .468 winning percentage, 1 World Series title (2015)
Duke Tobin, Cincinnati Bengals, .490 winning percentage, 5 consecutive playoff berths (2011-2015)

With a damn good culture.

I wonder why Bruce kept Gruden though. He must have known his job was next on the totem pole, he could have bought himself 2 more years minimum with a new coaching staff last year, and no one in the NFL or us fans would have questioned letting Gruden go.

Just an odd thing for Bruce to do.

This is so pathetic...less than .400 win percentage and here a decade. How in the world could this ever be sold to me as "ok" in my life time of Skins fandom? man...

In his twisted mind, he probably thought Gruden would be the scapegoat.

When and if Allen's fired I wonder if Snyder has any fucking balls to come out of his hole and face the media, say something to the fans..

I am going respectfully disagree. I think AS is smart but you really need a seasoned vet GM here to step in and right a horribly tilted ship. Who that is and if they ever come here is the question.

Getting worried...got to bet rid of BA now before all the good potential HC'S* are hired. The work is out...any good prospects don't want to come here with BA running the show.
