Don’t care. Being well versed in Dan Snyder bullshit ownership style, nothing fucking matters until changes are made and he commits himself to stay the fuck out of football decisions.

I read something I thought was thought-provoking, can't remember where I first heard it but it went along the lines of "in order for teams to win titles, every level of the organization, from ownership all the way down, has to have a unified mentality to do whatever it takes to win. A desperation of sorts." TL;DR: everybody has to be on the same page.

When I hear about Doug Williams' comments from the Landon Collins signing about how he doesn't factor scheme fit into it, my first thought was "you just gave a player 84 million without determining if he'd be a good fit?"

It really speaks to the lack of organizational cohesion from the guys building the roster to the coaches managing the roster. If our next FO/coaching staff is ever going to have a chance there needs to be complete unity about the direction of the organization. This includes Dan. I'm not sure if he'll ever agree to be the hands-off owner we all want, but if he decides to interfere every year we are doomed until he dies or sells the team.

Per reports, Ron Rivera and Marvin Lewis are the leading candidates for the Redskins HC job

Forget the HC, Bruce needs to go first. Hopefully he goes Monday

Feel like these are the two leading candidates if Bruce stays.

If we go with either of them I am gonna be less than optimistic about our future.

Who in their right mind would be excited for Marvin Lewis as HC? That’s a guy Bill Callahan would probably endorse as his replacement. Marvin Lewis would probably name AP the starter at RB when hired. I see Lewis as a guy who probably would get the Skins ready to compete on Sunday, but not a guy who is aggressive in the pursuit of winning. He gonna want it won his way.

At least Rivera has been unafraid to let guys on the field make plays to win games. He’s dealt with some strong personalities and got them to perform lights out.

Between those two...it’s not fucking close, Ron Rivera all day over Lewis.

Couldn’t agree more. What did Lewis ever do besides average? If that’s the case then keep Callahan, Lewis is a decent DC that’s it.

Re: Why moving on from Bruce Allen this year is pivotal to the future of the franchise.

You have to remember that Lewis coached the Bengals. They don't spend any money ever on anything. They barely have a scouting department. It's an accomplishment in itself that he had that team in the playoffs several years in a row. Working for Mike Brown is probably worse than Snyder.

I remember when Lewis was here under OBC he was really the main guy that kept things from falling of the rails completely. He should have been the head coach and not OBC who didn't want to practice in the rain. OBC had like two protections and got his QB's killed. Lewis would have hired a NFL OC instead of a college coach. That was 100% on our stupid ass owner.

Lewis was also the DC to the 2000 Ravens, a truly great defense.

I feel Lewis would be a solid hire as would RR. I would be in favor of both guys but I would suspect there will be competition for RR, not so much for Lewis.

I’m talking about his head coaching stint, he was a decent DC, did ok with us, nothing extraordinary.

I think Lewis had to deal with some strong personalities/ head cases in Cincy. Chad Johnson, Palmer, Chris Henry, TO, Adam Jones..

Right but my point is who can go into Cincy and do well under the circumstances? Who can go in there and make the playoffs 7 times and 5 straight years? Now yes he lost all 7 games .. lol but still, he is a upgrade from Gruden anytime anyday.
