Re: All things NFL Offseason 2019.

There is absolutely no reason to waste resources on the Flaccos and Keenums of the world.

We'd lose games with either of them.

Rather go with Josh or Colt or a rookie.

I have no koolaid for next year. We need to do what is best for 2020. And that is drafting a rookie this year or starting JJ/Colt. Either our rookie gets experience or we draft our long term QB in 2020.

Draft a rookie and throw him in the fire right away? Bridgewater? He played like shit for Saints last game,so who do you think Skins can afford to sign that would be better stopgap?

He played well in Minnesota with a lot of talent around him.

He’s not significantly better than Colt or Johnson so why bother.

My plan as I’ve said several times is Colt, Johnson, and a rookie.

Yeah no thanks, he isn't any good. Slight upgrade over Colt

I would prefer the Redskins went with either Colt or Johnson and 2 Rookies.

We don't have a QB of the future on this team. It's in our best interests to double our chances of getting a solid QB.
Also, AS is a great mentor according to Mahomes. We need to get some young talent around him.

If the Skins don't draft Murray then I really don't want a QB at 15.. Jones is EH.. To me, the rest are 2nd round guys

Well that's not a bad plan if we want to suck it next year.I am not impressed with any qbs to draft this year, but I am intrigued by Murray. This time last year Baker Mayfield wasnt thought that highly of and there was talk he could fall far enough for the skins to get him, that was sure my hope, but by the time the draft got here he rose to the top,I could see the same thing happening with Murray.

Murray is by far and really by far the best QB in this draft. Will it play out like that? Who knows but based on production and upside he's worth the #1 pick

I am not drinking the 'Heisman KoolAid' on Murray. I think many folks will be surprised come NFL combine time. He is listed at 5' 11", which is smallish for a QB. But I work with a guy who played QB (3rd string) for Switzer at OU back in the day, and he has met Murray. My friend (who is 6' 1") tells me there is no way Murray is 5' 11", says he is closer to 5' 8". He almost disappears in the locker room surrounded by all of the other players. A bush among the trees.

Would not be surprised if he falls in the draft.

Re: All things NFL Offseason 2019.

OU lists him at 5’10, I’d bet he’s something like 5’9 and change. Either way it’s not the height that’s the main concern, it’s how slightly built he is.

I’d still take him though based on his arm strength, accuracy, and overall athleticism.

Re: All things NFL Offseason 2019.

The draft needs to be February 25th. Not April 25th. Dogshit.

Found an article that contained a tweet from the strength coach who measured him at the beginning of the year in his socks and he was 5’9 and 7/8
The build is a concern. RG3 was 6’2” and 220 lbs and he look like a twig, does Murray look more like a Russell Wison or a RG3?

Murray does a great job at protecting himself though, he knows how to slide and get out of bounds and he has much better vision than RG3 ever did.

Upside? None of these guys were being talked about three months ago and now there perennial "all pros" I see one maybe two in this year that should go in the first round(maybe)Haskins and Jones but I would prefer the Giants take a QB in next years class , more of them and better ranked.

This can make a big difference in my opinion. I didn't watch him play much at OU...but for those of you who did, did you feel he did a decent job of this? Russell Wilson does a good job with this...while RGIII and Jackson did not. Murray is small but obviously has great skills...but it's whats under the helmet that's gonna make the biggest difference.
