We will easily beat Stl

After watching our game for the second time, I noticed that we just had simple mistakes that will be corrected. Don't give up just yet the giants are a real good team, jc has to get his mechanics right, holding the ball low is just dumb. Hey we started out 0-1 last yr. It's a long season we should be fine.

I think we should be able to win by at least three TDs... but I thought that last season against them also. They looked horrible against Seattle yesterday, so let's hope some of the momentum the Skins built with that last drive carries over.

Careful, I'm trying to remember the last time we scored three touchdowns against anyone. I know you said "should" but I'm going to "stay medium" remembering last year when the Rams came to town. I never take any NFL team for granted.

The Skins wont easily beat anyone this year. They will get wins but they will be close games.

Yeah, OK ?? And did you forget their head coach knows us INSIDE AND OUT. If the skins win by more than 10, I'll be schoked.

Did you miss the part where I said, "I also thought the same last year"? Meaning, on paper we should destroy these guys... but obviously I understand the game is on the field.

Vegas has the line at -10.

Yea I agree, but in the NFL you can't take teams for granted. I just want to see an easy win for once... It's like every game is a grind for us no matter who we play.

I couldn't agree more. I think we're one of a handful of teams in the league that will absolutely disappoint you when it comes to playing a team they SHOULD beat. It's been a really long time since I've just been able to enjoy watching the Skins rip a team a new one. Maybe it was the drubbing of the Lions in 2005 or 2006? Even our certain wins I'm on the edge of my seat waiting for some alien to fall on Jason Campbell causing a fumble only to magically land in the other team's hands.

I agree! Which is why the Redskins should come into this game angry! Pissed off! Frustrated! And Pumped up! Then proceed to kick the crap out of St. Louis! I mean, run up the freakin score! Make it 35-0 by the end of the half. Our first play at the start of the 3rd quarter needs to be a play action bomb to Moss! Just keep running it up! When St. Louis gets the ball back blitz both corners. Rogers can't catch but he can hit! When its 3rd and long tell Haynesworth to bellflop that SOB that calls himself a quarterback. PISS THEM OFF!!! Work out all that agression and anger that New York gave us onto poor poor St. Louis......................................And then shake their hands afterwards and say "good game".

I mean, thats what teams like St. Louis are for. Thats why the league expanded to 32 teams, so there would be more of those teams. And we need to take advantage of that.

Re: We will easily beat Stl

We SHOULD be able to beat most of our opponents. Looking at the stats page on NFL.com (I am not a stat-ition) we didn't play bad, we just played inconsistent. I didn't look at anything on the defensive side, but I'm sure we were top ten. STL is going to catch hell. Clinton always seems to run hard after a sub-100 game.

JC- 10th overall QB rating
CP- 13th overall rushing yards with 3.9 average
Randle El- 8th in receiving yards.

Not to rain on your parade there, but should keep in mind that there are still 2 games yet to be played in week 1.

Brady playing against Buffalo and Rivers playing against Oakland. You can expect JC to drop at least 2 spots.

And then there is Tomlinson, Taylor, McFadden and Maroney still needing to play.

Portis averaged 3.9 ypc on 16 attempts. That is very average and well below what we normally see CP attaining.

When Washington came out of the gates at 6-2 last season, Portis was getting well over 20 touches per game, which helped Campbell out tremendously. 16 attempts in a game for a RB like Clinton Portis is unacceptable.

Im not getting overconfident, did that last yr when we played the Rams. I told everyone this would be a game that we would win by 20+, loooooong day at work the next day.

I think the Skins will bounce back strong against a very weak Rams team.

In all reality they have too. IF they lose this game the wheels are really going to come off the bus.
