Redskins Back-up Punter: Chris Cooley

but I just noticed on redskins.com on the depth chart Depth Chart - Washington Redskins
that Chris Cooley is listed as the back up punter. I can't imagine a situation where you would need a backup but I guess it could happen. I have never heard that he had any punting experience, anyone have any info?

Anyone have footage of the Joe Theismann punt?

Com'on man!

http://www.thewarpath.net/redskins-l...pth-chart.html

It isn't hard to do a quick search. Heck it isn't hard to check in once a day and see what we're talking about. If you can't then don't make threads.

i don't have footage or even memory of a theisman put but I do remember theisman returning punts. imagine a back up QB doing that now. but then again could Colt do any worse than randel el?

I would love to see Cooley punt in a short field situation.

Well remember the hit ST put on that one punter. How about having to tackle the returner or getting blindsided by a blocker. Maybe he could nail a long punt pinning the other team on the one and then jumping up to celebrate he hurts his leg.

We SHOULD have traded for him, he could replace Randel El and Suisham too!

I just saw this on the replays. Dude, OchoCinco is the real deal. He would have fixed our WR and kicker immediately. It was actually a pretty good kickoff and extra point.
