Well as a Skins fan, I hope we can maintain our offensive stats (improving Redzone of course). We now have no coordinators after our first back to back winning records in ages. Great

McVay stated his target for DC is Wade Phillips as well. Was he on the list for Washington to interview as well?

I'm not sure if it has ever been reported that he was "on the list". I don't know why he wouldn't be though.

Yes i'm with you. We are essentially starting completely over again with a new OC and all new defensive staff, possibly new QB, etc.. It is scary. First time the last couple of years where i've dreaded the upcoming season...

I truly believe there will be more continuity on the offensive philosophy than people fear. Relax. There might even be more creativity in the run game (not holding my breath) than duo and pound draw.

Whoah pump the brakes there chief. I know you're always filled with dread and fright but why are you concerned about having a new defensive coordinator? There's only one way to go on D and that's up.

As far as the offense Jay is still heavily involved there and whoever the next coordinator is you can bet it's going to be someone who shares the same philosophy as him. Schematically the offense shouldn't change much at all.

And we're not going to have a new QB. Just stop with that bologna.

Jay is an offensive guru, we are going to be ok. We need a strong DC to come in and take charge. I would rather have Manusky as DC than Callahan as OC.

Re: Rams hire Sean McVay as their next head coach

If Phillips winds up going to LA with McVay, that might go a long way to making this a successful venture for Sean. Good luck with him. Will be curious to see what Jay Gruden does now. Does he promote from within, go out and find a replacement OC, or will he take over playcalling duties?

Re: Rams hire Sean McVay as their next head coach

I'm happy for McVay and hope he has success, except against us of course. But my real hope is that he doesn't raid us for his coaching positions. He can have anyone except Callahan and Phillips. Of course our next o-coordinator might want to bring his own coaches along too so Callahan might leave anyways.

They'll be fine until they get to the redzone.

Re: Rams hire Sean McVay as their next head coach

Someone said McCoy was our first choice to replace Mcvay? S=%t, if
Sean raids the coaching staff, we might as well try for Norv after all. McCoy is a hot commodity!!!!! I hope we land him, but who knows. The lesser teams with vacancies have a heads up on us.
