This is something I grew up with in NJ , they are called Joe's , we called them sloppy Joe's put not like you think, No ground beef and they are not hot.





They can have any type of meat but most come with ham.


Three slices thin rye , in house made thousand Island dressing ,in house made coleslaw, meat , swiss cheese and butter

Any sandwich that you also need a fork to eat all of the excess that falls off, is fine by me. Give me that sandwich, a bottle of hot sauce, and a fork, and it's go time.

Turkey bacon is just awful.

While I’m here, turkey outside of thanksgiving just sucks. I’m trying to find an exception to this obvious rule...I think state fair or outdoor carnival/festival type setting then smoke turkey legs are def crushable and a strong suggestion.

Maybe you make a mistake an get sliced boars heads turkey for sandwiches is ok once, twice a year...but seriously fuck turkey in general.

I generally agree that turkey is a bit overrated but I do love a #7 from Jersey Mike's with pepper relish and jalapeños

I have had it on Primanti Bros. sandwiches and you are right adds some texture.
