PROBLEM SOLVED.

Flag huggers would go apeshit if you took away their anthem! Might as well piss in the face of the troops while you’re at it.

Even though it has been a tradition for about 9 minutes. Lol. Said it once n ill say it again. Not one of those tough guy true blue afraid of their own shadow wanna be soldier fake ass patriots stands up when the song comes on at home. It is just some show they put on when they are showing off their bald eagle tattoos at a game. But that is what happens when a fake bonespur cowardly draft dodger becomes the spokesperson for Murica. No offense to anyone with a bald eagle tattoo. You arent all fake ass patriots.

Agreed. Might as well have different sections for all of the religions too. How bout a church a temple and a mosque just in case you get the hankering for some prayer time. Whatever happened to watching a fucking football game.

Re: NFL Anthem Policy

I love our flag, our national anthem, and our pledge of allegiance. To me, they represent the commitment of each and every one of us to stay united as we work toward the ideals expressed in our great founding documents. Again, it represents our ideals as a nation and not necessarily the realities of our daily lives.

It does not offend me that a man would quietly kneel with his head bowed during our anthem to bring our attention to something in our society that he believes is very wrong. I don't consider that to be disrespectful because he is not disrupting the pledge of those around him. I think of it as his calling our attention to his belief that we are falling far short of our ideals in a very serious way that needs our immediate attention as a nation.

More than that, he believes that it is an emergency. He believes that people are being killed because there are still racial barriers in our nation. As united Americans, we need to try to fix our racial problems now as we move closer to realizing our ideals.

I love the blow back of Make America Great Again. The left reply has been this entire country is offensive and sux. The pledge, the flag, the star spangle banner, and nationalism in general is under attack.

But this fact remains true, we are the best, most dominant country in the world since the industrial revolution and that is only because of the people who built it. If you want to cry and complain, do so but you know deep down there is no better place in the world but here. Enjoy your day!!!

I don't do politics, I honestly don't even vote so this whole thing is beyond old.

Man you are missing out...embrace your bubble. Let go of independent thought and context. Let go of facts or only the chose the ones you like. Don't think, but feel. Set your sensitive level to 11 and go out seeking to be offended. Its great.

Let’s take it a little easy on the “we are best” thing. There are lots of important things we are not best at. Health care, education, condition of infrastructure are among many examples where we are certainly not leaders. As an example, infant mortality rates are the highest in this country of all developed nations, higher even than Cuba, for god’s sake.

So take it a little easier when you pound your chest.

Or it is kind of like a black man protesting racial inequality until we stop ignoring it.

I agree with education, which I think has been the most avoided issue in the country for 25 years. But still, higher education we still issue a ton of Student Visas per year for folks who want to come here and study. The cost is insane for higher education.

The infant mortality...I honestly had to look back but clearly remember this stat around 5 years ago because this was a favorite of folks who favor socialized healthcare. The problem with those rankings is the scope/criteria is not consistent in world wide reporting. Cuba isn't a reliable comparison...its Cuba.

I still have us ranked #1 in the world though...woot woot.
