Post NFL Sunday Ticket... How (bitter)sweet it is

So I get my Tivo, NFL Ticket, new tv and everything ready for opening day, I'm not missing a single Skins game. I knew the game would start before I get home from church, but no worries... I got Tivo and NFL Ticket. I get home to see a blank screen being recorded and a message saying that this game isn't available in my area. This seems odd to me because I live 2 hours SOUTH of Dallas. But since Fox is carrying the game locally I can't watch it on DirectTV and I can't record it on TIVO. And since they wont carry my local channels until November, I'm stuck watching a fuzzy screen and adjusting the rabbit ears every few mins.

Great to see the Skins doing well, sucks to have done all the prep work via DirectTV for naught.

Uh Oh.......I feel your pain! ..I'm also a fellow TEXSKIN and thought about ditching cable and getting Direct TV just for NFL Ticket. Sharing your experience saved me some money.........guess I'll wait until Cable gets NFL Ticket rumored to be in 2006........at least they showed the game on local fox channel here on cable...and will have to rely on sports bars, until NFL Ticket is an option with the NFL......not good to be a Redskin fan in Texas when you can't see your favorite team...sigh:

But at least the Redskins WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!
