I'll give 'em 24 hours to enjoy the win before we start nitpicking tomorrow. Feels good to be back in the W column against Dallas, and kudos to the Skins for giving the game ball to Rich's wife.

I wish I could say it all the time, but this is the best week to say it...
Greg Fucking Manusky. Your boys were ready to play. Swearinger set the tone early, that was awesome. The Bama boys are beasts. Really wish Ioannidis went there so I could just group all 3 together.

Snyder is not a perfect owner by any stretch but he also does a lot of things outside of the game right. Proud of the whole franchise knowing how important RT was to the fan base, the team, and the whole Skins community.

Re: Dallas Post-Game Thread
Awesome night to be a Redskins fan !
Watched the game in a Packers bar in Paris, joked with an american Eagles fan on a trip in Europe to go to the game in London next week, kept it down a little when they lost but was so happy. Then, just before the kickoff of our game, I was joined by a french Redskins fan, and a Redskins fan from Virginia enters the bar... followed by a Cowboys fan from Dallas. Man that was back and forth during the whole game, a LOT of fun ! First time in my life I can make fun of a Cowboys fan face to face, that shit feels great! Re: Dallas Post-Game Thread
This was a fun game to watch but the fact that it came down to a missed last second FG is ridiculous. The Skins should have won this game by 15. The red zone offense is pathetic. They look lost inside the 20. The more I see of Alex Smith the less impressed I am. Even the few times he does try to go down-field he seems very inaccurate. He's a game manager at best. All that said, nice win and first place is great.

Re: Dallas Post-Game Thread
People are criticizing Alex Smith...for 2 straight weeks he's been without Jamison Crowder and Paul Richardson and Chris Thompson...so the passing game was at least 55% less than it normally would have been had those three guys played. Alex had no INTs and no strip sack fumbles...that's the main thing...
The defense was phenomenal....they held Elliot to 34 yards on 15 carries and they caused 3 turnovers...all 11 guys on defense deserved a game ball...

Re: Dallas Post-Game Thread
Alex smith has been garbage 3 straight games...tape and stats back it all up. But yes, the apologists go right ahead and hold on to the turnover stats because that’s all you got.
Qbr has him 24th behind Bortles and Dak. 7 passing tds for the year? Alex Smith is not living up to the trade and more importantly, contract. What I was told was Alex Smith was better on the red zone and was the most accurate qb throwing the deep ball. What’s most disturbing to me is Alex Smith accuracy...it seems really bad. 14 for 25 yesterday against that secondary? Terrible He’s not getting it done folks, not even close actually |

He missed several throws that were open, the most crucial of which was Sprinkle in the end zone. Sprinkle was just as open as any of the injured guys would have been. He’s had a down couple of weeks. That said, I still think he’s capable and will make some plays going forward. But we won yesterday despite Alex Smith, not with him, and certainly not because of him.

Had this been Kirk Cousins we would have found ways to lose that game...Smith is a game manager....he's not Dan Marino....him missing out on a wide open Jeremy Sprinkle doesn't measure up to how professionally and flawlessly he managed the game....

Re: Dallas Post-Game Thread
He flawlessly managed them to 13 point against a terrible Dallas team. That doesn't cut it. They will squeak games out against bad teams but against good teams they will get crushed like they did vs NO.
