Re: The Saints come Marching in..

Jaylon Smith was released by Dallas. I’d definitely be calling about him. He may not be the star he hoped he’d be but he’s certainly better than anything we’ve got.

Jaylon Smith is a unique physical specimen…and he had a couple decent years, one outstanding, gotta think what happened? Did he just get paid and check out?

Re: The Saints come Marching in..

No doubt.

There are TWO fairly decent LBs out there (Collins and Smith) but I'm getting frustrated at how Rivera and JDR are like, "Naaah. We good." It's almost like they're saying THEIR roster selections will pan out, to just give it time.

Jaylen Smith sucks. He isn't any better than Bostic. There's a reason he is out on the street.

I worry about him undisciplined in the scheme. In the past when reading about his play “out of position” seemed to be a common theme.

Re: The Saints come Marching in..

We are 11th in scoring offense (25 ppg) did not see that coming..

Saints are 18th in the league.

No Mike Thomas this week again should be a huge relief to our DBs. Winston really has no true #1 WR.

The guy is never in position, undisciplined won't stay in his hole. Plus the injury concern. I just would not touch that guy. The Cowboys were so bad on d last year and he was a big reason why.

Gilmore was released by the Pats. I would take a look there asap.

This is a winnable game no doubt. However I just don't think Taylor will get away w/ the stuff he did last week. He could have easily had two picks as a few were flat out dropped.

Re: The Saints come Marching in..

He is one dimensional due to the knee injury. Decent on the run but can't cover in pass. I hope the Giants pass on him.

Listening to Smoot on Keim pod about the secondary…he makes sense, 1. These guys haven’t played enough together. They are still too new. 2. Moving guys to their strength could help the defense. Curl should be strong safety. Fuller to free safety. Collins to linebacker. St juse and will Jax boundary corner.

^^ all makes sense. Except Collins said no to LB and didnt get coached up on the position in TC.

I say on known passing plays, tell Collins he is a safety but put him where Bostic usually is on those 3rd and longs.

He also says we don’t disguise well enough. The QB is breaking huddle and knows our coverages immediately which is not good

Yeah. It seems like Qbs no. 1 option is always open so the ball comes out quick, pass rush is neutralized.

Herbert exposed that week 1.

But I have hope. I do believe RR's team will get better as the season goes on. I think we peak right when we hit that 5 game NFCE stretch to end the season.

Our D can only get better.
