We'll be lucky if we can get a similar package for Haskins that Arizona got for Rosen.
we are not getting anything near that for Haskins . . . Rosen was not good his rookie season, but he was not anywhere near as bad as Haskins as been . . . Hell a lot of people here though we should trade for Rosen . . . who would think they should trade for Haskins?

Re: Kyle Allen named the starter

QBs who got benched and later went on to have successful seasons are not numerous. But it's not unheard of. Matthew Stafford was benched in 2015 during his age 27 season. Kurt Warner got benched for Marc Bulger in St. Louis and went on to make a Super Bowl appearance for the Cardinals.

Most of the time though, it's a Brock Osweiler situation, benched and the dude never does much after.

It's possible this motivates Haskins and he straightens himself out, but more likely we're moving on.

You can change the name. You can paint lipstick on a hog. But we're still the fucking Redskins. Everyone get to their YouTube apps and start watching Lawrence, Lance, Fields highlights.

I'm OK with the move. I would like to see more of Haskins but you also can't develop the other guys with his piss poor QB play.

He really should have thrown the ball into the endzone on that 4th down. I'm not even really against the change, but this whole thing has been butchered.

All of me wants to see this. If he's been cleared by all of his and the teams doctors and he wants to play, let him play. Would be the NFL feel good story of the season.

That, in my opinion, has to be the driving force here. Obviously you want to give him time to develop and see what you have, but not at the expense of developing and evaluating the rest of the roster. Hopefully Kyle Allen can step in and play at a higher level so they can actually evaluate the whole team...and who knows, perhaps compete in this seemingly terrible division.

I was talking to another diehard fan yesterday at my local dog park and he brought this up. It’s a looming fact, but I hope Haskins would be receptive to holding a clipboard and learning. I still think he has talent and intangibles which could develop as a contributor.

At the same time I look at Kyle Allen and kinda cringe. He turns the ball over so dang much

I know this personally.

I'm not worried about his leg bones. I'm worried about his running speed behind this offensive line.

He's smart though, he'll get the ball out quickly AND ACCURATELY.

Re: Kyle Allen named the starter

I was defending Haskins getting the season to show progress if the coaches think he is the guy. But if they know then it is best to go with Allen. They have a few other young pieces on that offense that they need to develop and shouldn't come at the expense of Haskins.

Re: Kyle Allen named the starter

Is this the right move? I’m really torn, but I think Haskins should be given more of an opportunity.

Ron has a presser at 130, we'll see what he says but something must have happened with Dwayne and Ron, he isn't even dressing up

I don’t if this might have something to do with the QB change:
