There was a massive run on running backs and nose tackles after our last pick last night.

Carlos Watkins, Dede westbrook, Desmond King, Jake Butt, Caleb Brantley best available

Also a solid group of interior oline left. Not much left at rb.

Re: 2017 NFL draft rounds 4-7

RB Perrine and DT/NG Carlos Watkins would be a good 4th round

I'm glad we have two have two fourth round picks.
Going to be nice to have some serious competition in training camp.
And yea, time to find a running back and a guard.
I still like Marlon Mack - RB and Nico Siragusa - G

Major props to SM for getting the Jets 4th round pick. We'll be picking at the top of the 4th round and there are still a ton of good players. I'm thinking he knew that this years draft was deeper and wanted the extra picks for this year.

Dorian Johnson can be another BPA meets need - perfect world scenario.
We need a real NT more than we need a guard, but I dislike Lavauo. We are paying him way more than he is worth. That is never good.
Plus I like what I hear about Dorian Johnson. Sounds like a solid starter from day 1.
Good offensive lineman are great investment. Plus let Bill Callahan work with him.....win win

TV broke while I was at work yesterday so didn't get to watch draft last night. Went out and bought new 55 inch TV last night instead and just got it set up. Safe to say I'm vegging out ALL day today.

Absolutely love our draft. 1st round talent at all 3 picks.

I Agree. We can potentially get two starters at 114 and 123.

Re: 2017 NFL draft rounds 4-7

Loving the picks so far.

One issue: why doesn't the WPost remember that we also signed pro-bowl LB Zach Brown to our front 7? Is it just too hard for them to believe that we've had a good off season?

"Along with free agents Terrell McClain, 28, and Stacy McGee, 27, Allen and Anderson signify a major overhaul of the Redskins’ front seven."

Liz Clarke did the same thing yesterday. Nit picking, to be sure, but it gets on my nerves...

I don't think it is nitpicking, I think you nailed it. That's a really big omission. While I don't think the WaPo intentionally tries to shit on the team but it's mistakes (of omission) like this that make people think they do.

It's a complete overhaul of the front 7 so far. You have to love it. We don't have a crystal ball, so who knows if they're right on these guys, but I think the moves make sense, they're cognizant of both need and cost, and how can you hate that effort.

Re: 2017 NFL draft rounds 4-7

Gimme the human battering ram short yardage RB, Samaje Perine RB from Oklahoma.

THAT would help us down around the goal line immensely.
