Re: NFL Free Agency Thread
Personally I like what the Giants are doing. They're basically punting on this year, getting cheaper and getting draft picks. I wish we'd do this instead of trying to tread water and top out at 9 games.

I like it too, I don't understand the hate towards it all. That is how u rebuild. Eli is old and done, Odell has great value, go get picks for him and draft a QB , OL and start over

Re: NFL Free Agency Thread
I rather see it that way too (although I hope it becomes an unmitigated disaster). Some have wondered whether they're squandering Saquon Barkley's best years. But look at AD -- he's still running at a high level. They could complete a rebuild in a few years and still have an elite RB talent in the fold.

Re: NFL Free Agency Thread
Colin Cowherd actually making a solid case for not trading ODB jr. He saying this all started with the Giants not taking Sam Darnold...and refusing to not cut Eli.
If they would have taken Darnold...ODB Jr would still be there. Could cut Eli and saved 17 mill this year. Coulda signed any RB they wanted...including Bell Darnold, ODB Jr and L Bell...........would probably win the East this year

Good for him! Won't miss his bad angles and missed tackles.

Re: NFL Free Agency Thread
I know he had a major injury last season, but when healthy Jason Verrett is a good corner. Good pick up by the 49ers (if he stays healthy).
Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter 49ers signing former Chargers’ CB Jason Verrett to a one-year, $3.6 million deal, per source.
