Redzone: He has 9TDs passing, 1 rushing TD, 64% completions, 0 INTs, and a rating of 115.7. That's poise.

Peyton Manning threw 28 INTs in his first 16 games. Campbell has 19 TDs and only 13 INTs in his first 16. "When is he going to develop into a good QB" you ask? Umm, turn on the TV each Sunday. It's happening.
Ok, so in 9 games he has nine red-zone TDs, that is great. I am sure he will be on many people's pro-bowl ballot.

Now, sarcasm asaide, you are not the only one to mention Manning's 28 INTs. Yeah yeah, I know, I know. But how come you talk about JC's 19 TDs and not say a thing about Manning's 26 TDs. Or what about the 700 passing yards that Manning had over JC? To me those numbers say one thing, he was trying to win, and if that meant more INTs, then be it.

Read my earlier posts, I did say that JC is playing not to lose the game. Whether that is his fault or the coaches call is a different issue.

Well a bet's a bet. That's ok. I wouldn't change a thing (except the final score of course). I'm not happy we lost but I'm not going to stop being positive and believing in my team. I don't have to rationalize it, convert anyone, or apologize for it.

(man, I hope we win next week. I'm nervous)

I'm not saying they are worthy of exact comparison. I just think it's important to note JC's redzone excellence as well as a very strong TD/INT ratio for a QB who has started 16 (now 17) games. You had asked "when is he going to develop..." I think my answer was sufficient.

Now, I can say that he has arrived. I live in the DC area and got watch all the Skins games. I just didn't see much from him untill yesterday.

Given the chance, JC can grow into a very good QB.

HA. Good catch on that. Atlanta should be calling Drew right about now for a one year deal. That'll guarantee they find their qb of the future.

1. Dallas this week is NOT a must win. We'll be in the hunt without this one.

2. There are winnable games left on the schedule (note: we have to actually win them! I know, I know, we suck, fire gibbs blah, blah, blah...): Buffalo, Minn, Chi, TB (tough one): that's 9 wins, without Dallas or NY.

3. Dallas may not need week 16--plus, it's in DC and we may need it as a "win or go home" game. Hence, that is a winnable one, and if we're in that position, we've got some momentum. So, we can beat Dallas at HOME to go 10-6, or 9-7.

4. On the road in NYC is tough, but god, we owe those bastards, and I'm not sold on them. A possible win, if we don't get TB or one of the others.

5. Put it all together, and things are hardly lost here, folks. What makes this koolaid, I guess, is the crazy idea that we can beat Buffalo and Chicago at home, Minn on the road, and Tampa or NY on the road. Then at home for Dallas, with Randy Thomas back. You might say it's koolaid to think we can beat ANYONE now. I say that's the post-loss depression talking. I say get your negative heads out of the dark recesses of your own complaining asses, and have a little hope!!!! (And here, to help you out, have a sip of this sweet fruit-like punch, with no more than 10% real fruit juice....)
God I love looking back on things like this....

Kool-aid these days seems to be tasting so much sweeter
