Thanks for the comments. This is a keeper league that I'm in and Brees has been carrying my team for the past two years, including winning the league two years ago. I think D. Williams could be a good RB, but Jonathan Stewart may take carries away from him. I hope Williams stays healthy, he looked GREAT during the preseason, so I hope that carries. I really don't know what to make of McCoy, maybe Kolb sucks it up and they decide to run the ball. I know Spiller is a toss up, if he doesn't break down he should be a good RB. I have Tim Hightower on the bench, and he will be a good back up. I really like Jennings, I think he'll have a monster season. And we'll see about Crabtree, he put up some good points coming into the middle of the season last year.

Why? Because my team's success will be linked too much to the success of the 49ers offense? I guess i see the logic there but Davis and Gore have come through in the past for me.

My WRs are very boom bust and i'll be going with the hot hand, but i have a deal working for Cutler.

good young talent at rb, it's by far your best position.

the wrs are a bit thin. smith and hoosh are serviceable, but you better hope berrian and favre start to connect, or knox steps up his game. i am not high on s.smith this year, but hopefully he can pull through for you, except against this skins of course.

is this a 12 team league?
Yeah 12 team league

Yes, that is exactly why. If it were 3 Colts or Saints, I could see your logic b/c they put up a ton of points. I completely agree with Gore (top tier guy) and if you have to play a TE keep Davis (top tier guy), but if I were you, I would try to move Crabtree and pick up a stud from another team. Obviously it's your squad, so you do whatever you want. The 49ers aren't going to score tons of points, so if you have 3 guys starting from that team at the same time, you're going to struggle in at least 1 of those positions if not 2. If Gore stays healthy, he is going to be a stud.

It's just my 2 cents, good luck!

your receiving core is insanely good. you might need to move some of those guys (wr) on your bench to get another rb. mjd has knee issues, addai has donald brown hot on his ass, and reggie bush is a clear #2 behind pierre thomas. if nothing else you should try to get MJD's handcuff (rashad jennings) if he is still out there.

Re: So how did I do on my FF League?

12-team league...I showed up for this draft. Shocked how good this team is.

I have 4 teams, but this one is impressive. Also, I never had the #1 pick before.

(have waiver claim in to replace Shayne Graham, the bum who couldn't get a job, with Neil Rackers)

Boston Terriers
1. (1) Chris Johnson (Ten - RB)
2. (24) Ryan Grant (GB - RB)
3. (25) Roddy White (Atl - WR)
4. (48) Arian Foster (Hou - RB)
5. (49) Vernon Davis (SF - TE)
6. (72) Joe Flacco (Bal - QB)
7. (73) Donovan McNabb (Was - QB)
8. (96) Donald Driver (GB - WR)
9. (97) Dexter McCluster (KC - WR,RB)
10. (120) Robert Meachem (NO - WR)
11. (121) Clinton Portis (Was - RB)
12. (144) Carnell Williams (TB - RB)
13. (145) Jabar Gaffney (Den - WR)
14. (168) Cincinnati (Cin - DEF)
15. (169) Shayne Graham (Bal - K)

Starts QB WR WR WR RB RB TE K DEF

Yeah, another RB is definitely needed. Try to trade one of those WRs. Cotchery's numbers will be inflated before Holmes comes back...he's a sell-high early on.

MJD is fine, no issues with his knee, but I would definitely get Rashad Jennings just in case. I feel like your squad is very strong with your starters, but you definitely lack depth in case someone goes down with an injury and during bye weeks.

I also agree with the above about trying to move Cotchery sooner rather than later. A guy I highly suggest you look at and he's probably still on the waiver wire is Lance Moore WR from New Orleans. I've read where they say he poised for a big year and could take over the #2 spot from Meachem.

Re: So how did I do on my FF League?

They have too many targets in NO though. Colston is a fantasy WR, Meachem is a bench/fill-in guy...anyone else is very iffy.

They'll all have good weeks and complete dud weeks. Brees spreads the ball around very well. Great for real football, horrible for fantasy football.

Yeah Brees is the only reliable fantasy guy there. They have so many weapons you can't count on one guy week to week. What was that graphic they put up last night, they had 7 or 8 guys with at least 35 catches? First time that was done since the 95 Dolphins.
