There is no way I am paying $15M for a WR who averaged 8.8 yds per catch

Wow, how's that posssible. 9 tds tho.

His career average is only 10.1. Lots of catches but not a lot of yards.

Yeah, that doesn't scream elite money to me.

Landry is a great yac receiver - i think his avg is due to the way he has been used in Miami, and how he has been put into the box of a short to medium threat only - i think hes talented, i think he has been a bit mis-used, but with that said, i dont think he is the answer nor do i think we should sign him.

I think the days of the Skins over paying free agents is done.

I don't mind Allen. I think his approach to things as a business decision helps balance Dan's fanboy tendencies. If Vinny was still there indulging him Kirk would have been the highest paid qb at some point and cap hell would still be the norm.

We need a bonafide # 1 WR and 112 catches is a lot. Mr. Reliable. But yeah that's a lot of cash for 8.8 yards per catch. I spoke too soon about being agreeable.

Re: Redskins trade for Alex Smith

We for sure need to sign a veteran WR, just have to decide the price point.

I'll trade you Odell for two #1's and a #2 next year, and then you resign him next year.
