Effing Lego neck. That bastard got an assist today from our shit offense. Sad to see luck and the colts keep the foot down on Lego neck while rg3 and the offense let him back in the game a week later

Also, the whole Cousins as trade bait was brought up over a few games of last season, and I emphasize LAST SEASON. That short order work isn't going to get a team to give up a coveted 1st rounder for a good backup. If a team is going to give up a first rounder for a good QB, why not just draft one with your first rounder. The whole concept is moronic.

Re: Broncos vs Skins Post Game Thread

Considering how long the defense kept us in the game, a win was there. I didn't have any expectation coming into this game. I was ready to see our QB returning to form, and what we got was a regression.

I don't know if it is Kyle or Griffin going away from runs, but it seemed like he pushed to hard trying to out duel Manning. We had the lead our QB was getting killed and we don't try and ground and pound the Broncos.

The defense had us in the game getting the ball back 4 times in the second half and scored a TD in the process. So even though it was 45-21, our defense played well. Yeah they gave up some big plays but they also made a few of thier own which could have helped us win the game if the offense had any type of consistency in the second half.

Re: Broncos vs Skins Post Game Thread

I get so pumped when i watch the Skins dominant on the ground, controlling the line of scrimmage, the clock and basically physically pushing around the opposite team. It's nostalgic, reminds of the old skins. It's also mentally draining for the other team. Times have changed, but damn it our offense is dependent on running the ball. Why would Kyle stop all that gud shit?

If they need a QB that bad they will draft one in the first round anyway. Right now RG III isn't looking so hot, and might become one of the greatest over hype jobs in NFL history when it is all said and done. We need Cousins as a solid backup and part time starter til we sort this mess out. If Shanny does get the boot after this season or next, the new HC might draft yet another QB(Braxton Miller if he stays for his senior year?), just as to have "his" guy.
You are probably right about getting a first rounder for cousins, not gonna happen, but you cant judge Kirk from mop up duty in this game.

And to agree with some other posters, damn where would this secondary be if Hall wouldnt have taken that pay cut and resigned with us?
And Morris and Helu both played well.
Did Orakpo ever come back in after his injury?

We are who our record says we are. Start evaluating for next season. When the vets get beat individually, play the young guys. No, I'm not saying "go on a seven game win streak" thoug I would like that. Start really evaluating who we have, and figure out why we collapsed and rectify that problem on the sidelines too.

I'm almost at this point. Dude is a one read QB, I never see him moving his head around until he's flushed out of the pocket and he HAS to look for another receiver. But then again, the WRs aren't doing any him favors, rarely is RG3 holding onto the ball for less than 5 seconds.

We don't know how bad III knee's injury is. Cousins may get plenty of tape the next couple of weeks.

Cousins doesn't have much value yet cause he hasn't been given many chances. There is no way to truly judge his value yet.

Re: Broncos vs Skins Post Game Thread

I haven't been ready to jump on the "fire ____" bandwagon, but it's clear that Kyle needs to move on. If he doesn't leave on his own, and Mike won't fire him, it's time to move on from Mike as well. How in the hell can you fuck that offense up in the 2nd half when your RB was averaging 6.1 yards per carry while keeping Manning off the field. YOU HAD ONE JOB KYLE!!

I'd say it's one of the worst 2nd half game calling I've ever seen in my life. (very few boot legs, no runs from Robert, not sure I saw any RO in the 2nd half)

No, this game isn't all on Kyle because our WRs outside of Garcon are complete trash. How in the fuck did Morgan's agent persuade our FO to sign him to a 6 mil/yr contract. Robinson needs to go in the off-season. He's dropped way too many crucial passes that have cost us big time.

Also, why in the hell is Fred Davis on the inactive list. You mean to tell me that one of our best pass receivers isn't worthy of a game day slot? GTFO!!!!

I'm borderline on wanting to just flush this coaching staff and get in a hungry coach who's going to be willing to adapt and adjust to what he has instead of trying to fit square pegs in round holes.

@JsteelznSkins

Couple truths ,Kyle and RG3 have a lot of tension ,not so much Shanny himself, Davis is on the block. Still don't like 6 mill man, need a 2

^^ pretty much explains where the tension is now.

I don't want a first rounder for him. We need to keep him because RG3 may not be the future here.

Dude, I think Kirk is a quality QB, and I am not going by today's debacle, but last year and that people are not going to hold on to distant memories. He isn't going to get us a first or maybe even a second round pick. He is a good backup, and a player we really need to hold on to. RG III might go down as the most over hyped player in league history. This kid was set for life via endorsements before he took his first snap, so he is rich even if he is a bust. Doesn't do anything for the organization though now does it? We need to hold on to Kirk because we need a decent backup, and might even have to hold the line with him as a starter ala Gus Frerotte did once Shuler was chucked.
