Re: NFL Free Agent Signings

sounds like this is the year of price inflation especially for the first cut of FA's.

Honestly rather get draft talent and find that 1 to 2 young hungry FA's. I think the DL guy from the Giants may be pricey, but would be worth it, and I stll like Terrelle Pryor at around 11M.

You named a couple of very good FA targets.

Hankins could hep us versus the run. He's also very young for a FA. I think Bennie Logan could help us also. Brandon Williams will probably cost a fortune, based on the deals we've seen so far.

Pryor is young and he has "star" written all over him. He'll only get better. He's a #1 receiver in the NFL. You're going to think I'm crazy but I think it's possible that Pryor could get more than $11M in a bidding war.

Dont'a Hightower would significantly improve our defense. He's young enough and worth the big $$$ it would take to sign him.

I think you're right about sticking with the younger FA's. I'd look to sign some good young players with upside on 4 to 6 year deals. That would be good for our building process.

I would love Pryor here over Garcon and Jackson. He;s almost a combination of the two and still a raw young learning WR who put up some awesome numbers in year one of his position change. Could be a great addition for the money hes going to ask for.

Re: NFL Free Agent Signings

Another thing with Pryor, he was at Cleveland, with no passer, little to no offense, and defenses knew to focus on him.

I doubt we will land him, because, well we are the new us, that doesn't do the obvious, but I would love to get him here.

Being a prick is not such a bad thing when he's on our side.

I really really hope we don't sign Terrell Pryor, it would be a massive mistake.

Re: NFL Free Agent Signings

Losing Djax and PG isn't horrible because of the $$ but it still sucks to see those guys leave. NFL FA is fun at times but sucks the other times. You cheer these guys on for 4-5 Years and they just walk away.
