Re: QB prospects in the draft (post McNabb edition)
I say we don't even take a QB this year in the draft, but next year, and we get Locker. I think that aside from Clausen and Bradford all the other QB's are not worth a valuable draft pick that we have, now that we don't have a second this year along with a 3rd or 6th. And knowing now that we tried to deal AH and LL means that we have needs at DE and FS, if they weren't obvious before. I say try out McNabb, Grossman, and Brennan this year, and worry about a QB next year. And for those who think that we are definitely getting rid of Brennan, I've read somewhere that Shanahan likes Brennan and wants to see what he's got before he gives up on him.

Re: QB prospects in the draft (post McNabb edition)
I don't know that we go Locker next year.. if all goes well, he has a good season, stays healthy he's nearly a lock to be number 1. What are we willing to give up for that? Hell McNabb has a good season we might pick one later down or even wait another year for a "high" QB choice. Hard to say at this point.

I really think and am hoping by the Skins getting McNabb they are going to cool their jets on drafting a qb with the fourth pick and focus on the O line. It will be interesting to see how the Campbell situation plays out and what they Skins are going to ask for him on draft day.

You obviously read what you want to hear don't you, and not a whole post.

The article that mentions Brennan is over a month old. PJ15 is still on the roster and I'm sure the Shanahans have watched the tape. Kid still has hope.

Yes, but nothing new has come out regardless Brennan. Personally I don't care if Brennan stays, but BA and Shanny have shown that they are very much willing to part with players from the previous FO.

^ Yup. We are witnessing a nearly complete backfield housecleaning and if Portis gets the axe, it will be a complete housecleaning.

Jake Locker? NO WAY we draft him next season.. We will finish 9-7 at worst next season. Locker will be a top 5 pick.

Re: QB prospects in the draft (post McNabb edition)
I agree, but then we need to come up with at least one of the top 4 linemen in the draft. I'd settle for Bruce Campbell or Anthony Davis if we cant get Trent Williams or Bulaga. I still doubt he's there and want Jake Locker,Andrew Luck, or Ryan Mallett next year in the first round.

Re: QB prospects in the draft (post McNabb edition)
Greg Paulus as a UDFA! haha.. somewhat kidding, but would be interesting, he's not far behind guys like Snead
with his HS football career, even with what he did for Duke, he might've been better off deciding to play football in college I think that he'll be signed by somebody, probably become a PS player.. not here though |
