That would truly be Fitzmagical
Why does he have to start? Cause he is more experienced and makes more money? Play the best guy. Play the guy who has the better camp. Bottom line is we already know who and what Fitz is.

I'm down to roll with #4 if he proves himself over ryan. I really like Taylor and legitimately believe deep down he is this team's future for at least a few seasons.

Yeah I’m good with either…I trust Ron. I feel much better going into this year with Fitz&Heinke than Alex&Haskins

Let's party like it's 1991 this year.

100% same. Our qb room as far as giving this team a chance to win has been severely upgraded.

No kidding haha. QB play was atrocious last year. Alex and Dwayne's QBR were like in the 30s... putrid...

We literally have no where to go but up at QB.

Ron can say there's a "QB competition" all he wants, and it's definitely good to get everyone some first team snaps when you can. But I still think it's Fitz's job to lose and he'd have to be awful all summer to not be the starter week 1.

Exactly. Don't think Fitz would be happy to ride the bench at all either. He's starting as he should. Despite the fact that's he's been a far superior NFL qb, he should start on experience and durability alone. Durability is a big concern with me and Heinicke.

Either way, qb play should be dramatically improved from last year. Fitzpatrick with these weapons and this defense is exciting boys.

Yeah, Ron said he'd rather its Fitz job "to have" than to lose, but baring any surprise he'll start week 1.
They are quite high on Heinicke though.

The big surprise is how Kyle Allen is getting ditched. Ron is not even mentioning his name anymore when talking QBs.

I think Allen was the preferred backup for Smith due to playing style. Heinicke and Fitz seem cut from the same cloth, though Fitz got triple portion in the beard department.
