Wink Re: Mason Foster has re-signed

Is 2 million too much for a backup MLB? Serious question. I like Foster and am glad he's back but I want an upgrade from last year in the middle.

Then again if we can't resign Brown then I'll be very thankful he's back.

WIith Brown, I still want to draft a MLB pretty high in the draft though. If we lose him we'll for sure need 1 pick there and possibly 2.

I'd say ILB is one of the most underpaid position in the NFL.

Josh Docston is getting more than Ryan Shazier...

If we bring Brown back, with Foster as a starter, and Zach Vigil as a developmental/rotational guy (I think we tend to forget he played really well late in the season when we had lost any hope), ILB doesn't strike as one of our top needs...

This defense needs more pressure up the middle.

He IS an upgrade from last year. Dude was IR'd very soon in the year after dislocating his shoulder even EARLIER in the year.

A healthy Mason Foster is a solid starter in this league.
