I was thinking the same thing.

Hopefully they like Flanagan and/or Holtz.

Does anyone recall which one of the two Cooley raved about toward the end of last season?

I remember him commenting that one of the two of them had blocked better than any TE on the team since Logan Paulsen.

I agree though. Really uneasy going into the season with the current TE group.

Why do you believe that? Just curious.

Bruce and Doug get Kyle’s Smith credit, fuck that!! Let’s recognize Kyle as our front office savior.

Time will tell, but I think the potential is there for this to be a really good draft. On paper, this team is much better and deeper. Gotta stay healthy now...

Davis, Sprinkle, Reid, Flanagan, Holtz, can all play WR’s galore. We are fine.

Re: NFL Draft Rounds 4-7

Agree on the TE sentiments in this thread. Gotta hope our old guys can play well for the duration next year, or we find a hidden gem in the undrafted free agent pool. Next year, TE will be a draft priority for sure.

I think our D though, will be absolutely terrific.

And I also think our OLine will be a strength, which will allow for a potent running game to control the clock, putting us in position to win.

No one in this draft has played a down yet. Let's slow down on calling Smith a savior.

I have no doubts whatsoever.

Ok. I would.

Edit: To me, there were much higher floor guys there. He's risky comparatively.

Re: NFL Draft Rounds 4-7

Agree with the general sentiment on TE. Not much blocking there.

I can't believe he hasn't been drafted. The kid from Penn State is a shitty passer and he got drafted by Baltimore The Ravens basically have 3 read option QB's that suck at passing.

Rypien is signing with the Broncos as a FA.
