Re: Around the NFL Week 8

Pretty cool WR metrics to play with out of 109 eligible receivers.
https://espnanalytics.com/rtm/

Terry and Curtis both top ten in catch rate but that is the only bright spot none of our WRs are getting open and Terry is ranked 50th overall as our top receiver.

50? That seems real low but he also hasn't had a great season either. He is however 22nd in yards. He's never been a big TD guy, but that's also because he's not a great red zone threat due to his size in fact his career high for a season is 7 and that was his rookie yr

They don’t have time to get open.

That's been going on since the offseason, listen to Keim.

You know it is funny. I was thinking the same thing as an indictment of the system, but I went and looked Terry's other years and it is about the same every year. He has been on some shitty offenses. I also think it is the type of receiver he is, he is about body position in relation to the defender and he is very good at that. The one that disappoints me is Dotson. I thought the big selling point was we had the next DeSean Jackson blowing doors off people but even last year not the case.

If the Commanders allow both defensive ends to walk, they could receive third-round compensatory selections in 2025. However, those compensatory picks could be lower or canceled out entirely if Washington spends big in free agency in 2024. The Commanders have plenty of cap space available, so they could retain one or both of the defensive ends, but that doesn’t appear likely with an offseason of changes ahead.

If they let one of them walk it would be negligent. If they let both it would be criminal.

Watching the Bills play the Bucs. This is football. We don't play football. Or almost never, right?
