I don’t know why, but I feel much better about the WR position going into this year than last.
They need to play Terry and Harmon as much as possible, go young. Prich will be available for like 6 games and then he'll be off and on injured (hate to be negative).

Reed has to have the best yr of his career if this offense wants to score 24 PPG. Running the football in todays league only gets you so far.

It means nothing. He has several years of tape that shows he's a back up.

This is how I feel. We're just prolonging the enevidible.

What’s the biggest weapon in today game? RBs who can be used in the passing game.

Gurley, Kamara, McCaffery, Saquon, Zeke (added to game last year). I think Guice has that skill set...incorporate that in our offense. Put CT on the field more on 1st down, he can do both.

Man I really hope Reed is ready as well. Vernon had a good camp. Sprinkle has turned a corner from camp reports.

So with an unproven WR set of receivers, we have better options in the passing game, but the staff needs to scheme it.

One thing with receivers: P Rich and Terry can fly...use their speed. Quinn supposedly has the best hands on the team, get the ball to him on 3rd down when we need to move chains.

This is good news. Flowers will get the first QB killed.
Hopefully this buys time for Wes Martin to get ready to take over at LG.

My favorite preseason Hall of Fame member was Thomas Clayton. In his rookie and sophomore season he was the NFL preseason rushing leader. He bounced around the league for 5 years total and piled up 15 carries for 29 yards all in garbage time to boot. Both the Browns and Lions were 4-0 in preseason before going 0-16.

It seems like preseason is pretty meaningless except for players on the bubble trying to make the final cuts. They should cut it to 2 games or get rid of it all together.

Very good point. I think Haskins starts after game 5 when we are 0-5 or 1-4. I will be pissed if we suck and Case plays the entire season.
