I also heard Guice squatted an unbelievable amount of weight at the same event. I really hopes he can play UNINJURED this season. I really like him and want him to succeed, but he’s got to stay healthy all season or others will take his place.

Re: Welcome to DC Chase Young!

Just read Rivera's comments about Young and he mentioned that he expects Young to play 55-65% of snaps this fall. I know we have Kerrigan and Sweat, but as #2 overall pick, I would have expected Young to play a little bit more than. Although this would keep Young fresh all way through the season, which could benefit us in the winter time.

Here's the link but it's from NFL so beware of the ads for some of you guys who encounter this issue frequently: Rivera's comments

Re: Welcome to DC Chase Young!

I really like Chase's approach .. to everything.

Seems like he takes nutrition, working out and spiritual/self motivation 110% serious. He is all about football and fitness (mental and physical).

He seems to have that Lebron James, Brady mind set .. elite elite player drive to be the best he can be.

I would love it if Chase and AP work out together. Treat your body like a temple.

Re: Welcome to DC Chase Young!

NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported the deal is worth $34.56 million with a $22.697 million signing bonus, per a source informed of the situation. Young receives 100 percent of his signing bonuses up front, added Rapoport.

----------------

As a refresher ... chargers-bosa hold out was bc the chargers didnt want to pay all the signing bonus up front and wanted offset language. Glad the skins didnt go the chargers route.

Or D-Line rotation is insane, there's really not enough snaps for any of them.

Young, Kerrigan, Sweat, Payne, Allen, Ioannidis, Settle...sharing 4 spots. At least we are switching to 4-3, that helps get them more snaps on the line as pass-rushers.

It's a great problem to have.

I can't WAIT to watch our D-Line under the schemes of Del Rio and Rivera.

Re: Welcome to DC Chase Young!

Reckon there's a possibility one of these could be trade bait by the time cuts come around? Ideally we keep all 7 but the right offer, say for a good OL particularly, and I'd be giving it serious consideration.

Re: Welcome to DC Chase Young!

I'd HATE to see it, but Kerrigan would be the one to trade based on age, salary, contract.

I hope he retires from here...my favorite current player.
