Music Tours 2017: Who are you looking forward to seeing in concert?

So with a new year upon us, I was wondering if there are any concerts that you guys are looking forward to seeing this year? As you may have guessed, I'm looking forward to catching some metal shows this year. My wife scored Iron Maiden tickets for me in June! I promised her U2 tickets for when they play at Fed-Ex. Psyched to see Maiden live as this will be my first opportunity to see them in concert.

Haven't seen Iron Maiden yet and don't really have plans to as of now, I'm more of a new age metal guy myself. I'm always keeping an eye out for a Gojira tour in the states but I don't think they have anything planned right now, last time I checked they were touring Europe.

I got to fulfill one of my bucket request this past year .I saw Arlo Guthrie perform Alice's restaurant on the very last night of the tour and it was spectacular! He only sings it every ten years and this was the Fiftieth anniversary of the song so he or I might not have another chance.

I would like to see James Taylor at Tanglewood in the Berkshires of Mass this summer on the 3 and 4th of July but we do have some things going on so I am not sure if I can get it done this year.

So far I've got tickets to see Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds, Kings of Leon with Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction ceremony (Pearl Jam!). I really want to see Mastodon this year, can't wait for that new album.

Ah man. I wasn't sure when the Hall of Fame ceremony was, but I had considered going. Even though I love metal, I'm still a sucker for the 80's bands like Journey, and was thrilled to see them get inducted.

Still wanting to see Evanescence in November, but TSO is also going to be in town that month and it will be down to a choice between the two. I haven't seen TSO (Trans Siberian Orchestra) in about 4 years, and I used to have this as my yearly "Get me into the Christmas Spirit" event.

Saw Iron Maiden a month ago. Man! AWESOME concert! Ghost opened with them. Purely satanic band, but man, they did put on a good show.

You know, the three day VIP pass is really not that bad considering the quantity of music and quality of bands that are performing. I wished we had something like that a little closer to home.
