Skins v ravens GDT 7 pm Saturday
Interesting list. Locks for the roster or bubble guys too dinged up to play, I guess.
I wonder if this means Hodges has the edge over Rodgers at the TE position. Hodges was a little dinged up though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I think J Williams is interesting, didn't see any injury info on him inthe last week so has he sewn up RB4? Some maybe omitted because they are concerned about getting them to the practice squad if they show too much in preseason, though I doubt it.

Doc Walker is bad in the booth. I mean, really bad. Constantly repeating himself and using "old school" football lingo (which, I don't particularly mind, but he's over-the-top with the usage).
There's no such analyzing from him. I'm waiting for him to say, "jive" and "sucker." |

Haven’t seen the game but looks like Sam is balling. He’s definitely QB2 now

We need better CB depth, Danny Johnson is bad. What was wrong with Torry McTyer?

Unless Howell blows Rivera away, I believe Rivera will keep Heinicke as #2 this year. We all know how Rivera doesn't like to play rookies unless it's necessary (Cam Newton is the exception).

To watch Taylor Heinicke throw the ball sandwiched between Carson Wentz and Sam Howell, who both possess cannons for arms, it seems almost unfair to Taylor. |

Our backup safeties aren't so hot either. Jeremy Reeves might save us at that position. He's had a good preseason. Percy Butler has a lot to learn and Darrick Forrest has been invisible during the preseason. |

Re: Skins v ravens GDT 7 pm Saturday
Just rewatched the game on replay. Thoughts below:
1) Liked what I saw from Howell. He has a strong arm, pretty accurate, and can make plays. Love the running dimension he brings. 2) Brown can get open but his hands are questionable at this point. Needs to be corrected asap if he as future. He had a few balls this week and at KC that could have been catches. 3) Still really like Jarret Patterson. Hope he makes the team. Love how he runs and it is evident he is a natural rb. 4) 2nd string oline terrible in pass protection. This could be a big problem quickly if we have to resort to them. They may want to look at new guys now. 5) 2nd string secondary got torched. Literally abused and embarrassed by Robinson. Think Chiefs will regret not keeping him. They ought to look at upgrading this unit also. Very ready for regular season football. Jacksonville is a big opener for a lot of reasons. They will be ready. |

Re: Skins v ravens GDT 7 pm Saturday
They were the 3rd /4th string line, none of them are making the team aside from perhaps Chris Paul, but they would have to keep 10 OL even then

Re: Skins v ravens GDT 7 pm Saturday
I live in Jacksonville now and I assure you they will come to D.C. ready to battle for a win. Doug Pederson is a favorite of mine as a HC because he is creative and bold as a HC/play-caller. I'd say it's a given that JDR will be out-coached. We have some advantages over the Jags, IMO, but it will still be a dog fight. Enough of that for now. I'm sure we'll have a thread on this topic in the near future.
