NFL Free Agent Signings

Per Adam Schefter:

Brandon Marshall and NY Giants reach agreement on a two-year deal, per source. Marshall doesn’t have to move, now plays with Eli and OBJ.

Let me guess, EVERY awesome FA is going to end up in the NFCE now?! Best. Offseason. Ever.

When does AP sign with them?

Just a two year deal too and playing second fiddle to ODB.

Bruce, why weren't we involved here? But we have interest in pure shit WR in Buffalo?

welcome back Bruce

Damn. And Shepard as the deep threat alongside the two studs. Have to be honest this sucks for us.

I'd have to see to the numbers, but I would have to think Marshall took a discount to stay in NY. The signing makes so much sense, but to catch a break too on numbers would be a huge win for the Giants. 2 year deal? wow.

You know what really sucks? The fact that the Giants are following our old blueprint of making big splashes during free agency and actually being successful with it.

Marshall and ODB will make for an interesting locker room.

I thought the samething...both these guy are "spotlight" hoarders. That's the "NY" affect imo. the sports figures up there are on a different level because idiots and media buy into them so much...Carmelo Anthony suffers the fate.

Great point...It will be interesting dynamic

Marshall is not a guy I want on this team. Like, at all. Him signing with the Giants is the cherry on top. This will not end well for them.

Him and Beckham on the same team is going to be comedic gold.

Eh, it got them a one and and done in the playoffs, lets see if they actually win anything over a period of time before singing their praises

Considering the Giants haven't made the playoffs in a few seasons, it did work out for them. Now, whether it translates into sustained success will remain to be seen.

49ers sign Hoyer:

Ian Rapoport @RapSheet 3m3 minutes ago
It’s a 2-year deal for #49ers and QB Brian Hoyer. Fair to say, this makes it unlikely they bring in Kirk Cousins in a trade with #Redskins

Also...

Ian Rapoport‏ @RapSheet 1m1 minute ago
More #49ers news: #Bills WR Marquise Goodwin is headed to the #49ers. Kyle Shanahan loves speed.

Looks like Marquise Goodwin is heading there too.
Makes sense, you cant rebuild a team if you give away two first rounders.

So where the fox is Captain Kirk?

Re: NFL Free Agent Signings

All the 49ers have to do is play the waiting game.. Hoyer stop-gap. Wait until Cousins is released this off-season.
