Re: Warpath $$ League 2014

i've made trade offers to several teams (not yours, matty) but not one has responded, not sure if they have been seen?

so far, that's only 2 of us using the mobile app.

Re: Warpath $$ League 2014

i love how no one talks about our league, it makes it that much more fun. i'd expect it if there were no money, but we each ponied up $50!

trash talk?
trade negotiations?
respond to a trade offer instead of ignoring it?
not even on the redskins bye week?
is anybody listening to me?

Didn't matter anyways. Even if I had started Romo, the rest of the sorry fuckers produced jack shit. When you pick last in the draft, chances are very high you'll end up last in your league as well. It's no coincidence I picked first in the other league and I'm 6-3, about to be 6-4.

Re: Warpath $$ League 2014

you can still roll the dice on mark sanchez. just drop one of your bye week players, like tom brady, alfred morris, brandon lafell, or andre johnson.

sanchez will only need to score 21 points more than cam newton + cody parkey combined.
if i had any fear of this happening, i would have dropped parkey for sanchez before making this post.

I had Romo, but he was on W middle of the week, so I wasn't able to actually add him to the team Saturday. I meant to change him in before Sunday's game, but I crashed 11am and slept till 1:30pm. Tired from Saturday. Like I said though, the lack of scoring from the rest of the team make it so it didn't matter. It's how it's been for the most part of the year. been a fucking shame.

my small money team is like that. i drafted ap at #2 and felt like that was the strongest of my 3 money teams.

i was wrong.

my second pick was aj green at #19, i picked him ahead of jordy nelson, andrew luck, demarco murray, antonio brown, randall cobb, etc.

starting a draft w 2 duds/busts like that hurts.

Re: Warpath $$ League 2014

have there been any other trades in our league besides gio/dez?

i traded gio (after his 1.60 point week 7) for dez bryant.

in the 3 weeks since then, gio has scored 10.70 points and missed 2 games while dez has scored 4x as many points.

Re: Warpath $$ League 2014

I don't mind trades but my first overall pick needs something similar in return.

My year is turning around after a horrible start. Still pissed about losing to deasel on a last second TD in garbage time.

I guarantee a win this week!

It's by record then by points scored. Have yet to see a "points scored" tie at the end of the year.

Re: Warpath $$ League 2014

Yup. I am out. Only way I make it is if my sorry ass team scores a bazillion points and one of the top for completely craps the bed.

Quite frankly, looks to me like the play-offs are pretty much set this time around. Jamf may sneak in (go Jamf!) but don't think so.

I just had no consistent producers. McCoy would have been fine as a RB2/RB3 but you need a little more than that out of the number 1 pick. Cobb did fine. My QB was "ehhh" and after that piles and piles of crap.
