Re: 2017 NFL draft rounds 4-7
I love it. He can be an immediate contributor on the goal line. This is exactly how I was hoping this draft would go. Defense in the early rounds and a RB in the mid rounds that can contribute to the rotation. The rest of this draft is gravy man. Next though, I'd like Peterman.

Re: 2017 NFL draft rounds 4-7
Fat Rob should still get carries, and Thompson should still be our 3rd down guy. But we needed someone who could rotate in for Rob, and move the pile on 3rd and short and goal line. This gives us all the situational skill sets.
We still don't have the homerun threat, but given that we got good defenders with our top three picks I am OK with missing out on Dalvin Cook. Let Rob and Perine split carries, let Thompson take 3rd down, and let Perine handle the short yardage. And let Matt Jones compete with Mack Brown for the last spot.

Next pick? Carlos Watkins? Isaac Asiata? Desmond King? Nathan Peterman?

Perine has been compared to Michael Turner (ex-charger) whom I loved.

Asiata and this draft is a complete slam dunk.
