Here are some projections. Of course, none of these projections had the run of WRs that happened in mind.

Mock Draft landing spots

Mel Kiper/Todd McShay (ESPN): No. 23, Kansas City Chiefs
“I think the Chiefs will be in the trade-up business with these back-to-back picks, but since we’re not simulating such moves today, I’m setting Patrick Mahomes up with another speedy pass-catcher with excellent hands.”- McShay

Pete Prisco (CBS Sports): No. 29, Kansas City Chiefs
“They need to find a replacement for Tyreek Hill, and Dotson would give them a nice speed threat. Nobody is Hill, but Dotson can run.”

Vinnie Iyer (Sporting News): No. 28, Green Bay Packers
“The Packers should think about doubling up on wide receiver in the first round. London looks the part of an outside No. 1, while Dotson can be the speedy vertical threat for Rodgers to replace free-agent departure Marquez Valdes-Scantling.”

Chris Trapasso (CBS Sports): No. 34, Detroit Lions

Re: 2022 NFL Draft Thread

Keim said all 4 WRs for Washington run 4.4 and under.

That’s a fast ass offense

What happened to him, he was projected to be a top 10 pick?

Not sure. But he still changed his life. Transferred from GA because they were too good, FSU is not right now, and he crushed it. But still only 1 year of production, so maybe that was part of it.

Also, Patriots' fans after seeing Belichick trade back and draft a projected 3rd round Guard out of UT-Chattanooga in the first round:

Re: 2022 NFL Draft Thread

So Dotson is a speedster, a la DeSean Jackson? So a healthy Samuel in the slot, with Terry's elite ability and a Jackson like speedster with good hands? All with a qb who doesn't have a noodle arm? Kool aid is tasting good tonight. Still don't dig that his name reminds me of doctson, but I'll get over it if he isn't injured going into the season

Re: 2022 NFL Draft Thread

I like we got a pretty good WR/return man, and I like we got some picks back, but I really, reaaaaaaally wish we took the bird in the hand with Hamilton. Not hating on it, but what I AM hating on is how much better it feels the Giants and Eagles just got. Cowboys I was "meh" on, but I think the Giants and especially Philly just got a good bit better. It's on paper, but still... :P

Turning pick 18 into AJ Brown might be the move of the round

Re: 2022 NFL Draft Thread

AJ Brown is good but if he was Elite the Titans would have paid him.. That is a damn good team with a really good coach, you don't let elite players leave unless you believe he's already had his ceiling. Also Hurts is not a passer, he is as inaccurate as a Mitch T or Lamar.

Supposedly Brown's problem is injury concerns - 3 years in the pros and he's never played a full season. Titans sound like they didn't want to make a huge commitment because of it, his talent isn't the question.

Re: 2022 NFL Draft Thread

AJ Brown has his issues, but I'm still not pleased they got him.

Problem is, can Hurts actually get those WRs the ball?
