Well, I guess I was counting him as one percent, thus leaving the other 99% that act like fools, smoke dope, beat their wives and declare bankruptcy 2 years after leaving the league.

Really cool story. Matt Stafford is definitely one of the class acts of the NFL, wish 99% of the other players would take some notes about how to treat people, and mix a little philanthropy and charity in on the side, instead of wasting it on some ridiculous bling.
Word. He's not only a class act I don't think most realize the adversity Stafford had to overcome since he entered the NFL i.e. big change in throwing motion due to injury. Detroit has a good thing going and I like it...would love to see them sweep that division this year.

I saw a #88, a #15 and an unknown #14 in the OTA video on Redskins Nation this morning.

Their numbers are confirmed here:

I'm not big on Garcon wearing 88, he's more of a 15, 17, 87 kind of guy. Morgan is an 84, 88 kind of guy. I know it sounds weird, but sometimes the number shows the kind of player you are. 88 is more of a big physical WR. 15, 17, 87 is more of a fast WR.

Great story. I almost cried reading that woman's blog. Heart touching indeed. Stafford has won mad points in my book.
