My brother and I were just shaking our heads as the Eagles continued to pick up enough yardage on 3rd down to continue their drive. Particularly, the drive where they scored their 29th and 32nd points. Not to mention, both of DeSean Jackson's long TD's were on 3rd and 10.

The Cowboys game was just a continuance of Week 1. It's despicable.

Re: What grinds your gears: Redskins edition

Besides BA and DS and all the usual BS about the team.

Years and years of crap like this:

https://redskinswire.usatoday.com/20...-to-everybody/

This is just one example of players publicly saying stupid stuff continuously.

I do not care who the highest paid player on one of the worst defenses (statistically) in the league does not trust.

I do not care how good Rob Ryan or Landon Collins thinks the defense will be in June.

I do not care if Josh Norman thinks this may be an all time defense in July.

I do not care what nickname the Oline, Dline, or secondary give themselves in the off season.

Geez.

Shut up already. BA, Jay, and the whole lot.

Win. Just win and stop talking.

Re: What grinds your gears: Redskins edition

Also Jay Gruden's bull shit run game.

I think I recall way back in 2014, when I first signed up to post on the board, I got into a big back and forth with 30gut about Jay Gruden's desire to run the ball.

I referenced all the run attempts, his commitment to the run as long as the scores were close, and thought, mistakenly the numbers backed me up.

Statistics can be deceiving. Going into the 6th year of this S show of a run game, my opinion has been battered and broken.

I NOW don't believe a professional football coach at this level can truly want to run the ball and have the god awful results year in and year out.

You win, 30gut, I was wrong. Jay doesn't give two shits about running the ball.

Training Staff and Coaches:
Two games in a row they had a player injured and checked out by the training staff only to get an OK to go back in the game. Both players suffered severe injuries and returned to the game. This training staff is as incompetent as the coaching staff and ownership.

Greg Manuskys beard - if hes going to call Junior high defensive schemes, he shouldn't be able to sport a beard until he mans up.

Re: What grinds your gears: Redskins edition

Since we are venting I'll say my piece:

As a lifelong Redskins fan I have seen many bad days (majority honestly) so really all I know is losing from a Fan standpoint. I said after we let Kirk walk that I really don't care about this teams W/Ls anymore because I am just Numb to the fact that it will never change. I am 32 years old, I have been a fan since the age of 6 literally 26 years and only 1 time in my life did I think the skins had a legit SB shot (1999).

Dan Snyder is a fan boy that just happens to be a Owner, he is clueless when it comes to football and that is evident, the HORRIBLE GM hires over the years are just a small sample, he's had multiple HC's (Marty , Joe Gibbs, Steve Spurrier) that have GREAT resumes in the sport, and guess what? Nothing has worked.

Jay Gruden has been here way too long and really needs to be shown the door asap, problem is, Nobody wants to come to DC WHY? Because of the Front Office.

Fedex is a sad story, the fact that the stadium is never a "Home game" to the team is EMBARRASSING! That is all on you Dan, the fans have left and who can blame them?

I hope the team finishes 3-13 and fans just stop showing to games all together starting Monday Night.

The whole thing needs to be burned to the ground. The franchise just doesn't care about being embarrassing though. Dan Snyder is a loser. So he doesn't care about being surrounded by losers or losing.

I stuck up for him for years, but I genuinely dislike him as a human now. He is a little weasel. He keeps a bigger rodent around to be his fall guy.

He is example 1A of money don't make the man.

I'm not against buying whatever you can afford, but fuck it doesn't suck for us fans seeing him ruin our franchise, while being rewarded for doing it.

Fuck you Dan Syder.

I'm just gonna make a list of things that grind my gears:

The Redskins looking like straight ass for the 2nd week in a row (really though other than the odd year here and there it's like almost 30 years at this point)

Jay Gruden looking like garbage (6 years in? HE IS WHO WE THOUGHT HE WAS) yet again. Why the fuck do I gotta watch your press conferences to see you saying there's no excuses when all you do is offer up excuses. Just come out and say "we fucking suck. Nowhere to go but up. All I can promise is we are gonna work our asses off, nothing's guaranteed."

Josh Norman - Why does your name gotta be the first thing I see when I check ESPN? Why can't we have just one week where you STFU and tell the media "brah fuck you guys, I'm gonna let my play do the talking"

Our overpaid, underperforming secondary: Communication issues, IDGAF what the reasoning is why Norman is getting burnt and the announcers are saying it's because he was expecting safety help from Nicholson and there was none. Norman is still making absolute beaucoup fucking dollars and so is Landon Collins. Figure the shit out. Dunbar, love the kid but he can't stay healthy. Jury is still out on Fabian Moreau. DRC looks and plays like ass. Big fucking fail yet again.

Greg Manusky - bruh why is Jay Gruden such absolute ass when it comes to picking defensive coordinators? Haslett, Barry, Manusky. Is Manusky trying to reinvent the wheel becoming the first successful defense that can't pressure a qb? How much fucking money and draft picks do we have to invest in this D to get such shit results? Norman, Collins, Kerrigan, Sweat, 2nd round pick who doesn't play like it Ryan Anderson, supposedly monster d-line with (admitted solo baller) Deron Payne and Matty I who hasn't shown up yet this year. Nothing bad to say about Jonathan Allen except get well soon.

The offensive line - truly this mother fucker is straight offensive, I am offended at how garbage they look running the ball. Motherfuckers are supposed to enjoy running the ball. Motherfucking Morgan Moses talking about it's a slap in the face when a HOFer like Peterson doesn't play - motherfucker it's a slap in the face when he does play and you play like straight ass, getting dominated all night and straight murdering us with your horseshit holding calls. DeMarcus Lawrence didn't even need to go up against 96yo Donald Penn when he can feast on your lard ass all night. Motherfucking lack of depth on the line yet again, Flowers might be pleasantly surprising when it comes to pass blocking but there is nobody on the line doing a half decent job when it comes to run blocking this year.

Trent Williams - goddamn bruh I get it, Bruce Allen is a succubus who sucks the joy out of rooting and/or playing for the Redskins. But we need you. Not just as a player, but as a leader. For the love of god just come out publicly and tell us what you want.

Bruce Allen - I could write a short fucking story on why Vinny Cerrato can't hold your jock strap, but know this: You are literally holding this team back because you can't talk to Trent Williams and get him to come back.

Tight ends - jesus fucking christ I get it Vernon Davis, it's a sweetheart story about a possible HOFer that comes home to finish his career with his hometown team but bro you can't run block for shit. And Jeremy Sprinkle do something with your life man, because you aren't any better. And Jordan Reed where do I start? Fucking retire already man, I don't want to have to rely on you and with 10 concussions you're already in like the 95th percentile for having soup for brains in 10 years. This game is not worth this shit, not for you. You're fast tracking yourself on the Junior Seau route only there is no HOF at the end of this tunnel. Holy fuck man.

Just so it isn't all negative karma in here:

Tress Way and Dustin Hopkins - way to be, guys. I hope you two are the answer for the next 5+ years minimum.

Kevin O'Connell: for the love of god anybody that can remove Jay Gruden from the offensive responsibilities is an ace in my book. May your development be swift and your ascension quick.

De'Ron Payne: way to fucking bring it guy. You bright shining star in the middle of this bowl of shit soup.

Scary Terry: I don't know that words can do justice to how happy I am for the start that you've had. I hope all the good things in life happen to you, and to nobody else but you. I wish that humble pie you eat every day would launch itself into Josh Norman's face.
You covered just about everything, this franchise is a mess

Your need to surround yourself with yes men and unwillingness to recognize you need to have a legit football man run the operation will hold us back until you die or someone tricks you into selling the team (or your mistress tapes you saying you don't want her bringing minorities to the game). 20 years in and it's still like you haven't learned a fucking thing about running a football operation. The only lifetime achievement you've earned for running this franchise is how to turn a diehard fanbase into an apathetic one that would rather have cowboys fans steal home-field advantage than donate another dollar to your cause.

bravo!

Re: What grinds your gears: Redskins edition

It's pretty simple. Dan and Bruce. They're losers at football. Mike Lombardi nailed it last week on the Junkies. He straight up went in hard on Dan and Bruce Everything he said was truthfull.

I seriously have a bad feeling that Dan may move the team one day. He has no stadium. The fans don't care anymore and he is hated here in DC. The only way the fans come back is if Haskins becomes a great QB, or we get lucky and draft a QB like Mahomes, who can literally carry a franchise.
