You must be referring to Josh Doctson....I traded him to the Houston Texans for a 2nd round pick on the Madden 19 video game..

That play just infuriated me. Just go back to the huddle and get on w/ the damn game. That is a culture thing. That is on the head coach. You would never ever see that shit go on in New England. Ever.
I did not watch but Clinton Portis on the post game said AS does not target JD when he is open and only throws to him when he is covered. Don't know if that is analysis or BS

Doctson is supposed to be a receiver that can catch contested balls, but he usually cannot. Also, those two dropped passes were just TERRIBLE drops by Doctson.

They put the camera on Jay after the second one...he had this complete look of disgust. "Like this fucking guy"

I don't think the QB coach says..."wait til he's covered then let it fly"

That's not terrible tbh, Julio as we all know is a great wr.

Doc was targeted 6 times, 2 drops and only 31 yards receiving. Nice TD catch tho.

Alex averaged a 6.7 YPA yesterday, it was the 4th time he did not get over 7 YPA this season. With the injuries to the line, I'd expect the same.

Smith's best game was GB where he averaged 11 YPA.
lets not forget when Norman tackled Julio for a 55 yard PI . . . numbers would have been 6 ro 140ish and 2TDs

Frankly, I think he doesn't catch that pass as he was in somewhat awkward position.

Re: Postgame Falcons

Coleman avg almost 3 YAC yesterday, that is piss poor tackling on our LBs. It's not like he's a big guy

Agree with the BS but I think it was more about AS not being in sync than the QB coach.

Re: Postgame Falcons

watching this tape is sad, If i have time i will record every damn play Doc can't get open so u guys will see its not all on AS. Yeah he is no gunslinger but he has no help on the outside

Falcons were very creative on block schemes, love the constant double team for their weak Guards

Re: Postgame Falcons

Alex Smith on passes 20+ yards down field this season. (Deep ball)

9 of 30 (2 drops) 298 yards 2 tds 1 int. 76.8 rating (32)

Before we all hate on him, he has actually attempted more passes down field so far than Brees, Rivers , Wentz and Dalton)

This is the aspect that we miss the most, the deep ball. Kirk is always a top 10 passer going deep. He is again this season.

19 of 37

10 tds 0 ints

Cooley has said all year that Doctson doesn’t get separation.

He lacks the quickness and footwork. It's just time to accept what he is
