Re: Zorn Needs His Own QB!
Why does anyone continue to indluge in a thread written by this rambling half wit?
Reguardless of what any of our opinions are, the offensive coaching staff believes that JC gives us the best opportunity for collective team prosperity, otherwise we would have another euphemistic quarterback competition between Collins, Brennen, and JC. Chase is going to be a stellar qb in the near future, but allow the kid to develope. We all have seen what that process can potentially yeild. Evidenced by several elite qbs in the league. Aaron Rogers, Tom Brady, Carson Palmer, Brett Favre so on and so forth. Ease up and Cool down, JC is going to rock this town. |

Re: Zorn Needs His Own QB!
look at the defensive rankings in the 12. Neither faced the steel curtain in college.

Re: Zorn Needs His Own QB!
Coaches who take over good teams usually have good QBs and keep them.
There is a new coach in Indy this year. Should he jettison the QB he inherited and get his own? If so, can the Skins please be the team that picks up that retread... Jim Zorn took over a team that was in the playoffs and had an established starting QB. If you gave him truth serum on Day One of his "Head Coachship", I doubt he would have secretly been yearing for his own QB. Maybe a better OL and surely a better set of LBs...

Re: Zorn Needs His Own QB!
OU most points in history playing against the 12 defenses, UF shut em down. less than half their avg.

Well guess what, I rather face the D of San Diego State than those crazy SOB's of Oklahoma or Texas anyday my friend. Playing UNLV isn't the same as playing Oklahoma or Texas, or even Nebraska. Brennan set those passing records against schools that were almost Div II status. The Sugar Bowl was enough to kill Brennan's draft. |

2.) The Big 12 conference as a whole does not play the greatest defense in the world.

So he had a bad game where he was sacked 8 times by a 3 man Dline with 8 in coverage.. look at Brady in the SB vs the Gmen. hard to be stellar when you are running for your life. UF did the same to Troy Smith, he seems to be doing well with the Ravens.
