As for the Packers, the only thing really worrying me is their run defense, ranked 4th rushing D (everything else is average or below average). The line needs to have another big game, if McVay establishes the run game, we'll crush them, we just moved the ball really well against a top defense, we can handle the Packers. If they shut our run game down, it can turnout to be a close one, but we'll win this one.
you lost me here....

Re: Packers Pre Game

Titans just nearly dropped a 50 spot on these chumps. Fuck what Admiral Ackbar says, we owe them one. They knocked us out last year, and we are going to end their season early this year.
Skins - 50
Chumps - 17

The Skins players need to keep all of their focus on this game and not read their own press clippings. The Packers are being disrespected by the media and I believe they'll be charged up for this game.
These are not your Daddy's redskins, We are better and it's not like years past when I would see up being picked to win and automatically assume we will lose, this is a young hungry team that for the first time since I was in High School (class of 95') that we are actually better than other teams and not just getting hot or lucky to win.

Hey at least they have us ahead of the Ravens and Cleveland (They also have Detroit, who we beat and are currently leading their division, at 26th).

Yeah ... not to worried about "press clippings."
Feeling ok bro???

They have us at 11, and we lost to Detroit.

Looks like you are just wrong

Re: Packers Pre Game

Well according to this link: ESPN NFL Football Power Index: Week 11 - Stats & Info- ESPN

... the numbers I gave are correct.

Under this link, your numbers are correct: NFL 2016 Week 11 Power Rankings - Dallas Cowboys, Seattle Seahawks, New England Patriots

The one I cited to is called the ""NFL Football Power Index" and is "Power Index rankings heading into Week 11."

The one you cite is called the "Week 11 NFL Power Rankings."

The one you cite makes a LOT more sense. So, yes. I was wrong, b/c I called the power INDEX a power RANKING. So shoot me.

Well you are also wrong because you said

and while I wish you were NOT wrong, you were. Detroit beat us.

It's ok, we understand you were trying to minimize your words, and that just threw your brain into a tailspin.

Re: Packers Pre Game

I refuse to get hyped for this game. If we are the same ol' Skins, we won't show up yet again for a primetime game and the Packers will easily beat us to completely turn around their season. It's a classic trap game. Pack just got blown out and we pulled out a solid win against a solid team.

I want to believe this year is different and if they want to show it well then Sunday night is literally the prime time to do it. Show the world we're not the same ol' Skins.

Re: Packers Pre Game

Only three home games left. Gotta make them count. It is a very winnable game, but they seriously have to figure out how to get in the end zone, and not settle for field goals. I like suspense in my movies, not my Redskins football games.

I hope they aren't thinking too much about the short rest and Dallas on Turkey Day. I'm sure they'll say all the right things, but it has to be in the back of their minds.

Haha I'll admit it's a pretty big IF ^^

Let me rephrase:

-We averaged 4,6 yards per carry last week, against a tough defense.

-The only aspect of the Packers worrying me is their tough run defense.

-So if they shut our run game down, we can win but it'll be close. If we somehow manage to establish some kind of/a little bit of running game, we could crush them.

Re: Packers Pre Game

The playoff loss last year showed everyone how week our secondary really was. To address it, we signed Norman.

Even being our best defensive player he's had a pretty quiet year. This is the game he takes over and makes the difference we signed him to make.

JNo shows up big and we take this win to roll into the playoffs.

Quiet for a CB is a good thing, means he's shutting guys down. He only created 2 turnovers (1 INT and 1 FF) but would have had 2 INTs against the Bengals had his wrist been healthy.

I'm happy with him, he's the type of corner I like, rather him than a Sherman having more INTs but getting beaten more often and having poor tackling technique. (and being a dirty player but that's not my point).
