That's CRAZY imagine the potential of our front four. The front four will make the back seven appear to be so much better JMO.

Yeah, you'd think it would ... the potential of that front four has me pumped.

Is it some kind of Redskin PTSD to worry that if we trade back from that spot, and forego Chase Young at 2, we'll wind up screwing up who we ultimately choose?

I wonder if it's just safer to snag Chase Young at 2 this year, and slowly fill holes throughout our roster over 2 - 3 years .... then to trade back, and hope to do it faster, this year.

JORDAN BROOKS, LB Texas Tech

Another day 3 guy who can play...watch him close on the QB when the lane opens, that’s an instinct play Cole Holcomb struggled with all last year:

Joshua Jones LT Houston

This is a guy who needs some coaching and will be there in the second...could fall to 3rd round. If you trade Trent, you could draft Jones in the second and combo Donald Penn or Jason Peters to start this year given Jones an apprenticeship

Several reports I have seen have him as a 1st rounder, PFF have him as one of the top tackles

Ezra Cleveland might be there in the early third round. He's a 6-6 311 LT from Boise State. He ran 4.94 twice at the NFL Combine. He has quick feet and long arms and he was excellent in pass pro in college.

Yeah, I wouldn’t be shocked, but I don’t think he’s a first round talent compared to the 3-4 guys in front of who could step in and play at a NFL level right now. He seems more like a second round guy, who may get picked more at the tail end of it.

Guys rise and fall.

Andrew Thomas, Tristan Wilfs, and Mekhi Becton are sure to be first round picks.

If we trade down I want Okudah and Thomas. Probably not possible. But that would be the only combination of picks that wouldn't make me at leased a little pissed we didn't get Chase.

Re: NFL Draft Prospects Thread

Young, Simmons, and Okudah seem like the cream of the crop defensively for this draft. At this point, I'd be happen to land any of them with Young being my preference. Going to be ticked if we don't land one. I do feel some may not be valuing Simmons enough. Kid is a playmaker and is everywhere. Very fast, lots of tackles for losses and sacks. Kid is a stud from a bigtime program. A national title program with a stellar d. It will be interesting to see how all 3 of these kids pro careers unfold for sure.

Myles Dorn is my Jimmy Moreland draft sleeper of the year for 2020.

If we don't trade down any farther than #5 then we'll get one of them because #1 and #2 are almost certain to be Burrow and Tua. If I had to bet on it, I'd say that the players we mentioned will be the the Top 5 picked.
